The L-7 is unironically superior to the Rh-120, especially when it's upgraded for AMP ammunition. It's absolutely crazy how fast the uber-expensive Abrams/T-80s went obsolete in the drone age. Apparently the ukrainians are just dumping their APFSDS ammo because they literally never fire it.

Because big stockpiles of the 105mm HE for the L7 gun and it's fast. But even that's misleading, because the replacement cost for all of these machines is a new tank with a new design which will cost 2-3x as much as an Abrams regardless.
