hi hrtgen

Should I be afraid to order from Russia? I live in Hungary, and I am looking into where else I could order from. Currently I only know of 1 store shipping here.

Does anyone have experience buying bulk E Powder for topical or oral use? I’m getting convinced DIY will not be an option in a few years, feeling like stocking up is smart
>>
>>40968184
Topical would be fairly simple. On plebbit there's r/estrogel. Orals are harder and to my knowledge they're worse due to the first pass effect. I'd go for topical if I get any E powder. I don't have any experience getting it doe.
>>
First time I've done bloodwork at ~5 months HRT.
Please someone tell me I haven't fucked it all up.
12.5mg cypro and 48mg EUn (was on 8mg sublingual for first 3 months)
>>
>>40969258
Why're you doing Cypro and EUn? If the site's right I think that's a lotta E2 and too little T. You still want a little bit of T floating around because nuking it entirely can cause issues. My advice would be to probably pull back on the Cypro and figure out a dose of EUn that doesn't put your E2 levels so high.

How do I stop fearing the possible side-effects of feminizing HRT? Stroke, heart attack, blood clots, liver and/or kidney damage, brain tumours, gallbladder disease, etc. I've had the medications filled and sitting in front of me for almost a month, but fear is stopping me from taking any of it.
>>
how long will my opengate vials last
can i use one for an entire year and a half?

>>40968184
>I’m getting convinced DIY will not be an option in a few years,
same, i'm just too much of an idiot to stock up
are topicals actually effective? will it feel bad going from injections to gel?
>>
>>40970281
Estrogen in vials should last a while in dark cool conditions. I wouldn't say that's of any concern if you make sure the vial stays sterile and all.
>>
>>40970354
>Estrogen in vials should last a while in dark cool conditions.
the vials are tinted to keep them dark, is that okay?
also what is cool? what temp does it have to be under? is it okay if my room gets up to 80 or 90 degrees according to my thermometer

>if you make sure the vial stays sterile and all.
i'm not sure how much discoloration is bad, and i have to trust my hand is steady and i'm not clumsy with the needle
i just don't know how easy it would be to get more if i run out now
>>
>>40969587
I have talked to top trans researchers such as Dr. Safer, these cases are extremely rare and long term (years+)

>>40970281
No way.. you think diy will actually get banned
>>
>>40970378
Keeping it in a cupboard would be dark enough. As long as it doesn't get hotter than 80 really it should be fine. 90 would also be fine I guess but not really ideal for prolonged durations.

>how much discoloration is bad
I'd say any major amount of discoloration is bad. Since that's an indicator of the oil going bad. It shouldn't get to that point if you maintain the thing properly doe
>>
>>40970404
>No way.. you think diy will actually get banned
i don't know but it's possible
they could make estrogen controlled (which would fuck over cis women who need birth control and hrt) and it's not hard for them to shut it down

>>40970409
>Keeping it in a cupboard would be dark enough.
is it bad if it's out in the open in a tinted vial?

>As long as it doesn't get hotter than 80
in the summers it might and i can't keep the air conditioner on forever
how am i supposed to cool it

>It shouldn't get to that point if you maintain the thing properly doe
what would improper maintenance be?

also if i use it for a year will it discolor? no matter what
>>
Progesterone is officially no longer honscience!!!

https://www.news-medical.net/news/20250905/Adding-progesterone-to-gender-affirming-hormone-therapy-improves-breast-growth-for-transgender-people.aspx

tldr: breast volume improved on average 37% after using Progesterone for a year.

Ehh I just wouldn't keep it out in the open if there isn't a need to. If you can keep your fridge fairly clean and probably just keep the vial in a ziploc bag or something of the sort in the fridge and I think it'd be fine. There should really be no reason for it to be outside.

>what would improper maintenance be?
Things like leaving it in the heat, leaving it in the sun, coring the stopper, various things like that.
>>
>>40970471
>Ehh I just wouldn't keep it out in the open if there isn't a need to.
i can keep it in a drawer or on my desk, i don't know which is colder
>There should really be no reason for it to be outside.
you're supposed to keep it in a fridge? wtf
>Things like leaving it in the heat,
my room gets as hot as 80 or 90, and i can't run while i'm out
>leaving it in the sun, coring the stopper, various things like that.
it's not in the sun but i'm stupid and i might core it

also is a 31g needle safe? i'm afraid of using needles that are too thin. i used to use a 29g needle but i only have 31g now
>>
>>40970471
Dont put vials in a freezer the oil seperates and there no real benefit
>>
>>40970652
I didn't mean to put it in the freezer. I thought fridge usually meant not the freezer part. But the cool part of the fridge that's not the freezer is what I was talking about.

>>40970651
There's no reason for it to be outside, and I was saying it was a good idea to keep it in the fridge. Not that you're supposed to. It's just if your room gets hot then that's not ideal for the oil. The reason why I say that is because why'd you want to keep your vial outside? I don't think keeping it immediately available is a necessity. It's possible you could bump it and it could fall or something like that. In the end it's up to you for whatever you want to do.
>>
>>40970677
>I was saying it was a good idea to keep it in the fridge.
idk i've just never heard of anyone doing that before

>Not that you're supposed to. It's just if your room gets hot then that's not ideal for the oil.
i'll have to pay more attention to my thermometer. it's 70-80 on a good day but hot days it will go way up

>The reason why I say that is because why'd you want to keep your vial outside?
in case i forget its in the drawer when someone visits, or it's hotter in there than the desk

am i going to notice if it's damaged from heat?

>In the end it's up to you for whatever you want to do.
i'm stupid
