i'm really fond of a lot of "ugly" birds, like turkey vultures, andean & californian condors, marabou & jabiru storks, & giant petrels. i honestly think turkey vultures are very pretty and i'd love to see one up close, i live within their native range. i also really love bearded vultures, rooks, kea, & kakapo. city pigeons are all my friends too

Still not a lot to say. I'm still mostly using one colour and but for the last rows (19-20) I finally got to use colour changes and now I have 2 extra skeins to carry around :)

I realized that besides all the time I'll waste twisting and untwisting the colours, I also have the major problem of having to carry around ~20 skeins of yarn every time I want to start/stop knitting. Right now I'm just keeping everything on my desk but it's already getting crowded and I have no idea what to do when I start using more colours because carrying them off and on the desk is not that efficient.

The only other problem I have is that the yarn is not 100% the same colour as the image so it will look slightly off but there's nothing I can do about that.

Actually they are paying with the university scholarship funded by alumni because they have guaranteed graduation and I no longer qualify for financial aid because of my long gap in education. ;___; I have to have a meeting with the Dean outlining my graduation plan.

I’m majoring in pharmacology for the money even though I’d rather be doing environmental science or cell biology. I need lab experience again for research jobs because I want to do research as a career, in any biological science, and that’s my uni’s only major teaching a diverse range of lab techniques.

I hope university goes well!! I miss it so much. I love taking classes and want to attend school forever. I considered becoming a professor, but I’ve heard it’s kind of shitty. Idk

Try getting some sort of mentor like a professor you like, even if it’s a random field. It’s really encouraging. I became an unofficial TA for one which was cool and you best believe I’m gonna put that in my resume. hehehe

i dont think it's that direct a link, there's definitely a correlation but i think it's more to do with what your social life looks like in general. if you hang out with mostly other trans women online then yeah you'll probably end up dating one. but like, I spend a lot of my time being social irl, and there I know probably tens of cis bi/gay women, compared to like three trans women? so ending up with one of the cis women could probably just be chalked up to basic probability.
