i had a congenital missing adult tooth and the bone in my jaw under my gum signficantly receded over time. So much so that it wouldnt be possible to fit in and secure a dental implant inbetween the bone that was left. So the doctors thought to graft new bone into my jaw where the missing tooth was and was receded, so I got bone graft mostly today and a metal frame for that. and then afterward the doctor covered it with soft tissue grafts from other parts of my gums that will grow back.so now i let this heal and hopefully if it goes how its supposed to, then in 6 months it will have healed enough to become part of my jaw and allow for an implant. Im really nervous healing will go bad though and that I will have gone through this expensive ($3k even after insurance) for nothing
