>QotT
Where would you start your sexual world tour?

FAQ:
>Am I bi if I like women and femboys/traps?
>Am I bi if there's this one member of the same-sex I'm desiring, but normally I like the opposite sex?
>Am I bi if I sexually like both sexes, but only interested in romance with one of them?
Yes, sexual attraction to both sexes is bisexuality.
>What's the difference between bisexual and pansexual?
Only difference is that our flag is prettier.
>Am I bi if i have periods where I feel only attracted to women and others where I feel only attracted to men?
This is known as the bi-cycle and many bisexuals experience it.
>Am I bi or am I 'prison gay' or porn addicted?
'Prison gay' is not a real thing and porn addiction does not alter your sexual orientation. You are bi.
>Am I bi or pan if I like trans people?
Both are able to be attracted to trans people.
>I think I might be bi but I can't tell. How can I be certain?
Just make a point to check out members of the sex you think you might be attracted to and see if anyone grabs your attention.
>Should I be harsh on myself?
You should be kind on yourself. Few people will do it for you

Are you particularly camp? Do you seem more gay? I’ve known some other people who were bi that asked me if I ever had a phase of thinking I was gay, which I haven’t, I’ve always been sure I liked girls since I was very young, and once I realised I liked guys as a teenager it stayed consistent as well. Maybe some go through uncertainty, seems retarded to me though.

>>
>>42967291
I think it makes more sense just to do it based on preferences, even if you do have sex it will get skewed by availability. I’m a Kinsey 2 in terms of preference and basically always have been but I’ve been with way more men than women because it was so much easier to hook up with guys at university, especially as a fairly young looking twink.
>>42967398
Idk if 2 is trannyfuckers, I’ve never been with or had that specific a desire to be with a trans man or woman, I guess I wouldn’t reject it if it came up but I don’t feel the need to seek it.
>>42967445
Damn that sucks, are you at least an ftm? 5cm is pretty impressive in that case but for a cis man that really is a shame.

Very happy to see one. I mentioned I was bi in a gay thread the other day and some guy went off on me for basically being fake gay and a tease. I know people can be protective of their sense of identity/community, and I’m honestly sympathetic to where he was coming from, but it was also really alienating for me. Like Jesus Christ dude, I like sucking dick and would love to have a boyfriend, is that not enough common ground for me to be welcome in your clubhouse? It bums me out how much lgbtq people self Balkanize
>>
>>42967269
Is there an online test for it? I’ve got a pretty good understanding of myself and my preferences at this point, but it’d be fun to see where I land on the scale.
>>
>>42968686
>alot of women would obviously avoid a man who is into other men
Such a shame because that's what I'm into
>>
>>42970823
You get exactly the same treatment from lesbians as a bisexual woman. And to be fair, I understand. Most "bisexual" women are straight and just want to feel special and are not queer in any meaningful way. I hate them too.
>>
>>42967229
>>42966407
It doesn't help that 90% of the time bisexual people end up with men. Whether they're bi women or bi men, they end up preferring men. It's noticable.
>>
>>42970716
to some extent , yes
>>42972127
>Such a shame because that's what I'm into
are you a woman who wants her man to be bi or a bi man who wants a gf?
>>42972169
>Most "bisexual" women are straight
i think so too, not to disregard someone's sexuality but most of the lgbt are bi women

i think alot of these are just straight women who are just climbing on the hypetrain of being queer, they dont realize that women are much more compassionate with each other and might even kiss each other platonically and then think they are bi
>>
>>42972249

If this is true then it's probably because men are much more available than women, especially in the current dating market. However, in my experience, this isn't true of bi men, myself and all of my male bisexual friends are in relationships with women. Though I know others who are in MM relationships
>>
>>42972169
Yeah like I said I was sympathetic to where they were coming from. It was just jarring because I’d been chatting with people in the thread without incident before that, and then a bunch of them got real standoffish when I mentioned I’d dated women before. I was surprised too because I had made it clear I prefer bottoming, so it’s not like I’m just some super horny ogre looking for a hole to fuck.

I’ve had a decent number of bi and lesbian friends and coworkers over the years, and have heard them complain about this kind of stuff before. It would make sense if it’s more common for queer women to run into larping straights, just because the social stigma against women experimenting together doesn’t seem as severe as the one against men doing the same.

Oh also a couple of the guys in that thread got real angry when I referred to them as “they”. I wasn’t even really thinking about it, I just said it out of habit. Wow they didn’t like anything that had a whiff of being trans or NB stuff
>>
>>42972292
>are you a woman who wants her man to be bi or a bi man who wants a gf?

I'm bi cisf and would love to have a bi bf. But for obvious reasons, most bisexual men aren't comfortable being out to women.
>>
I hate being bisexual
First I find out I have a mommy kink and now I want to dominate femboys.
Is it normal to have these phases or what the hell is up with me?
>>
>>42972423
Are you guys all out to your female partners? That honestly surprises me.
>>
>>42972419
True in most cases. But bisexual guys get to date gay and bisexual men. Ending up with a straight guy is brutal and sad.
>>
>>42972532
I mean NB is the ultimate annoying larp so I get not wanting anything to do with it.
>>
>>42972982
I am. My gf is also bi. That said I am starting to crave being with a man rather badly for the first time since we started dating 6 years ago. Probably gonna have some challenging conversations in the near future :/
>>
>>42972982
I am the anon you're replying to.
Yes, all the guys I was referring to are out, certainly to their gfs and close friends if not everybody, some are more obvious than others you know? (Me, I'm obvious). It could be that there are other bi guys I know who are dating women but are completely closeted, but because they are closeted I don't know that they are bi. All of the girlfriends in question whose sexualities I know in these examples are bisexual as well, all the ones I've talked to about sexual histories have had sex with other girls, so they are bisexual not "bisexual"
>>42973023
My gf and I swing with other bisexuals a bit (NOT with anyone we are friends with, the swining hookups are not the friends I was describing above), it's very fun but it is only a good idea for very specific dynamics and very stable couples. You should probably just jerk off to gay porn and keep loving your gf monogamously.
>>
>>42973023
This shit is why women hate bi men.
>>
>>42972423
Y'know, with the benefit of hindsight, these two probably had an effect on me as a kid
>>
>>42972904
What is the problem with this anon?
>>
>>42972249
lol wut? I am a bi man and I am close friends friends with a few other bi men and we are all dating women. Most bi people end up with opposite sex partners.
>>
>>42975391
it is pure chaos
>>
>>42972249
my wife and i are both bi, and we've hooked up with all kinds of different people, but we found out we enjoying double teaming/watching each other with femboys the most. we started seeing a 23 year old femboy with 0 experience, and watching him go 10 rounds in my wife, each lasting under a minute is insanely hot. just when you think he's completely spent, he wants me to bend him over and stretch him out until he can't walk anymore.
>>
>>42976408
How do you find partners who're down for this?
>>
>>42975855
Just do whatever makes you come
>>
>>42976786
NTA but if you're looking for men it's super EZ. I had my girlfriend text a former FWB of hers and ask if he's down for an MMF threesome and he said yes really fast, although we haven't done it yet.

Women it's circumstantial, any mff I've had the women all took the initiative and I was just along for the ride.
>>
>>42976786
my wife and i are both pretty degenerate, so everything is easy for us.
>>
>>42976852
So I have to not be an autistic dipshit, got it
>>
>>42973161

Yeah if we end up staying together I’ll probably stick with gay porn and maybe talk to her about pegging. I don’t have any issues with swingers, but I think my partner and I are both a little too vanilla to make that work.

Honestly the bigger question for me is whether I want to continue this relationship at all. My gf is an alcoholic with a history of trauma and mental illness. I’ve asked her multiple times over the years to get help instead of dumping everything on me, but she’s to make anything happen. Things are stable compared to early in our relationship, but she spends most of her free time drinking in bed watching tv. We’re both fairly comfortable at this point, but I’m getting sick of waiting around hoping she’ll make more significant changes.

>>42974552

Hey cool thanks for your uninformed assumptions about me, really appreciate that!
>>
>>42976880
Don't give your gf aids
>>
>>42976880
It sounds like you should leave her. I don’t know the details, discuss this with friends and family but it really sounds like there will be troubles down the road. And yeah, if you’re vanilla swinging is probably a terrible idea, especially if she’s not bi herself.
>>42974552
Women hate bi men because they are homophobic but want to pretend that they are tolerant or woke when they aren’t.
>>42976901
Case in point, straight to undisguised homophobia.
>inb4 I’m not a woman
Then you’re just a homophobe and a simp, leave.
>>
>>42976951
I’m leaning pretty heavily toward breaking up at this point. She has an open job offer that would involve moving to a different state, and would actually be in the same city as her parents. I want to have a frank talk with her about our future, so we can hopefully make informed plans for ourselves, or recommit to each other if we agree that’s what we want to do. I’m glad to know she’ll be near her parents and getting a fresh start at a new job if we do split. I want her to be happy and successful, I’m just not sure I have the patience to wait for her to get there anymore.

She is also bi, and actually a good deal more sexually experienced than I am. But we’re both pretty tame, and i suspect swinging would do more harm than good for us.

Right now I feel like what I want is a nice emotionally stable bf who’ll hold me and be up for spending a little more time together.
>>
>>42972850

>>42973161
ok so how tf are you finding so many bi people to not only have an entire friend group of bi people (each with an SO) but also a separate group to swing with? I guess swingers you can find through apps but I don't have any bi friends and it feels isolating
>>
>>42961245
who made this image I like the artstyle
>>
>>42977227
I don’t think you specifically need a bf, but you do need emotional stability from whatever partner you find next. It seems like now is the time.
>>42977485
Seems like it’s easier to deal with as a twink (I’m one too) because you’re probably already a little fruity or seemingly not straight, so girls into you will already have a higher chance of being ok with bi. But if you’re a straight seeming bi guy, being out can be close to romantic suicide in some cases.
>>42978566
Swingers through apps, they’re not our friends, and there aren’t that many fully bi couples on there, we manage because we’re relatively attractive. For friends, not all of them are bi, just a good number, and not all bis have SOs, just most. I have bi friends who are still virgins (somehow)
>>42977538
>open relationship
That’s not how swinging works for most couples, especially if you stick to bisexual stuff, we never have nor would meet anyone else without the other involved and everybody has to be into everybody else.
>strong arm
Lol, lmao, kek, she wanted to start doing it as much as me because she missed eating pussy. Also because she’s a fujo and wanted to watch me with other men.

lol yeah I won’t mention the verboten topics in there again. Honestly I was having trouble following what the hell they were talking about anyway. A lot of it was drama between thread regulars, dunking on trans people, and racism. Their language was also full of slang and acronyms I couldn’t really parse. I know this is 4chan so that’s all baked in to some degree, but there wasn’t even all that much gay general discussion going on compared to the amount of forum wars style bullshit.

>>42979889
I agree stability is fundamentally what I need from my next partner, male or female. My brain is kind of stuck on BF currently for some reason, but whoever my next SO is I really just need them to be self motivated and not a total basket case. I haven’t gotten to make out with a guy in like 7-8 years, I’d like to do that again at a minimum even if my next partner ends up being another woman.
>>
>>42961245
questioning myself. When I was 17 I was online friends with a 23 year old woman (we're both women). Anyways, I was obsessed with looking at her socials, staring at her selfies, and just imagining she was there with me in person. Never fantasized about sex or anything, I just wanted to be around her. I think back on it, and if we were closer in age and she asked me out, i truly wonder if I would've said yes..
does this mean i'm bisexual? I acted the same way towards my ex boyfriend where I was obsessed with looking at him, and imagining him near me all the time.
>>
>>42981576

>>42981576

>>
>>42981926
That might be what’s going on with the anon, but why be a dick about it? Whatever her feelings toward this person may have been they were obviously important enough to stick with her for years. She’s also questioning her sexuality seriously enough to come onto the lgbt board, find something that looks like a relevant thread, and then ask for advice.

>>42981576

I’m a bi male, I only really figured out I liked guys after realizing I had a crush on my male roommate in undergrad. My attraction to men generally only really became apparent to me afterwards. It took meeting a specific person and having that experience to unlock things for me.

I don’t know whether that’s what’s going on with you or not, but that was my experience with figuring out I was bi.

I think part of it is also that we’re kind of daywalkers compared to a lot of other queer people.we can blend in so there’s less trouble in the workplace, it’s easier to feel safe in public places etc.

I also have a partner, a job and a social life. I’m here currently because I had lull in my freelance illustration work this month, so I’ve had a chunk of spare time to kill. I’ve been thinking more about what my queerness means to me than I have in a while, so I popped on here to hear from other bi people. I’d probably get more out of a Reddit group or something, but I appreciate that you can just jump in here without making an account or sifting through a hundred micro communities. I’lil probably be gone again next month when work picks up.

Glad so many of us are leading happy fulfilling lives in an any case :)

Very based if the femboy knows how to dress himself and doesn’t look like someone in pic related. It doesn’t need to be as well put together as Young Thug’s dresses but we can hope that femboys rise above Amazon basics
>>
>>42988229
I think there's a range. I told someone in college I was bi and they told me they didn't get that vibe from me at all and I was embarrassed and said I was making it up and that I was just straight.
But a decade later when I told people I was bi nobody was surprised lol
>>
>>42988229
Yeah sorry that was a generalization on my part. I imagine plenty of us present very obviously as being queer. I kind of want to do a wardrobe refresh to more clearly signal I’m queer actually. It would be safe for me to do so, and I’m getting kind of sick of people assuming I’m straight.

That said we do have the option to shack up with a partner of the opposite sex, and pretend to be fine upstanding heterosexuals.

What does /bigen/ do for recreation? Hiking, book clubs, knitting, ttrpgs with friends, masturbate furiously?
>>
>>42990908
I call my hobbies the 3 Cs
Cars, computers and cameras
I've been priced out of cars and computers for the most part but I like taking film photos on the hikes my bf likes to take me on
>>
>>42990908
i like to lift weights, read old books, manga here and there, occasional anime with my gf. i can't masturbate furiously anymore, because it activates my girlfriend and then we have to fuck.
>>
>>42990965
Oh nice, my gf in college was a photography major in the late 2000’s. Digital was starting to take over, but she mostly worked with film. The main cameras I remember of her’s were a large format mamiya, and cheap plastic thing that might have been from logography? I took a black and white 101 class and messed around with a very basic 35mm.

What kind of camera/cameras do you use?

Cool I’ve read most of lovecraft’s stuff. I’m an illustrator and listen to a ton of audiobooks while I’m working. Clark Ashton Smith is great if you want more pulpy cosmic horror type stuff.

Any recs for a home gym setup? I’ve gotten back into regular cardio but it would be nice to do some basic weight training too.

It's a technical fascination more than anything

>Any recs for a home gym setup?
depending on space, you can get a full rack, or half rack if you need to save space. always get one with a pull up bar built in. barbell, plate set, always recommend 300 pounds as that gets you all the weights you need for the most part, flat bench if you just need a bench, adjustable one if you want to spend more. also very much recommend power blocks, or something similar. power blocks are adjustable dumbbells that go up to 100 pounds each, and take up no space at all. back on barbell, i have a male olympic bar, which is 45 pounds i believe, and 7 feet long. got a girl bar for my gf which is 33 pounds, and smaller all around.
>Clark Ashton Smith is great if you want more pulpy cosmic horror type stuff.

Yeah if you’re already going through the trouble of shooting with film it makes sense to have as much manual control as possible.

What do you do for developing prints and negatives? Do you send your film rolls away for that or something? I remember the artschool my gf and I were at they had this huge machine called like an Omnia or something for doing color prints. I can’t imagine you have anything like that in your house- it was the size of a small car and needed constant maintenance
>>
>>42991329
Awesome, thanks for the info! We’ve got a spare room in our apt we’re just using for storage currently, we could probably fit a half rack in there.

Check out his Hyperborean Cycle, it’s got a similar vibe to the Cthulhu Mythos

I can develop b&w film myself. Color takes more effort so I send those off for development then I scan my negatives using a cheap flatbed

>Always felt attracted to some men but also women
>Thought everybody is like this
>Realized recently I'm just bi

I'm single currently but consensus here seems to not tell women even if in a serious long term relationship?

Expecting to keep this a secret from your partner seems like a huge breach of trust, not sure how you all are imagining doing that for ideally decades of a serious relationship.

Do women really hate the idea of their partner being bi so much? Feels like every second girl I meet tells me they've been with a girl before, so are basically bi even if they don't use that word.
>>
>>42998083
If you operate in a scarcity mindset where you are trying to appeal to the broadest possible set of women:
Yeah probably more women are ok with straight guys than bi guys.

If you want to find an actual solid partner: Be honest. Very happy to be openly bi with my openly bi fiancee. Us both being bi is a mutual turnon and it's nice to be honest about stuff.

All of my female partners have been bi more or less by happenstance. I think I’m just fruity enough to only attract women who are open to dating queer people. I’ve never told anyone I’m bi and had them be like, “wow really, YOU??” lol

I can understand not listing it on a dating app profile, but I think I’d have to tell anyone I was interested in being with long term I was bi.

Have any bi women here run into issues with straight guys being put off by them being bi? I feel like I can guess the answer, but I’d be curious to hear stories
>>

>>42998359
>just fruity enough to only attract queer

I've also always been surrounded by a lot of queer people, before ever realizing I'm bi. Also usually been super oblivious to the fact that they're queer until they explicitly told me. Perhaps there's a vibe that people pick up on
>>
>>42998756
>Perhaps there's a vibe that people pick up on

Guessing people’s sexual identities is dicey, but yeah I think a lot of us give off signals that we’re queer, some of which we’re not even necessarily aware of. I mean everyone does that to one degree or another really- we’re social animals who use tons of different cues to advertise ourselves and feel out one another prior to talking.

>Have any bi women here run into issues with straight guys being put off by them being bi
Not put off, really. But my biggest issue when dating or hooking up with straight men is how.... straight they are. They've been trained and socialized to have very specific ideas and expectations around sex and relationships and that's just not what I want. Most of the friction from dating a straight guy stems from that, not from being "grossed out" about my sexuality.
>>
I can be attracted to cis men and women and a wide variety of trans people, but futa does literally nothing for me
>>
>>43000515
What kind of friction and mismatched expectations do you face?
>>
>>43000515
> They've been trained and socialized to have very specific ideas and expectations around sex and relationships

Oh sure, that makes perfect sense. Have you had better luck with bi men? I imagine a lot of that socialized behavior still isn’t uncommon with us, but presumably it tends to easier than with straight guys.
>>
>>42999007
Are you bisexual now paige
>>
>>43000543
I like to be in charge of shit. Whether with men or women, I like to be the dominant partner. Straight men don't like this, most of the time.
>>
>>43000721
Full disclosure, I've only ever dated one bisexual man (or at least he was the only one out to me about it), so the sample size is small. He was definitely more open to non-hetero relationship dynamic, but he still tended to default to being the "man" in the relationship a lot. Apparently his experience of dating straight women sort of attuned him to anticipate what "women" expect from a male partner, y'know? So even when I would say it's okay that's not what I want in a relationship, he tended to slip back into those expectations anyways.
>>
>>43000959
>>43001005
That sounds annoying, even the bi guy treating you as a statistic rather than as an individual. You can start with stats when dating but once you date someone you should understand who they are.
>>
>>43001005
Yeah that’s sort of what I was thinking might happen with dating bi guy- they might tend to be more open minded than straight ones, but social roles and expectations are so ingrained it’s easy to drift back into them.

Who’s the dominant vs submissive partner has run the gamut for my relationships with women, I’ve had one with rough parity, another where I’m submissive, and I sort of ended up taking the lead in the last one mainly because my gf was so disorganized I kind of had to for logistical purposes.

That’s interesting. That’s the dynamic my sister has with her husband. It seems like it works out well for both of them. She’s energetic and very particular, whereas he’s shy and easygoing but tends to be lazy if left alone.

I didn’t like being the dominant partner with my ex. I got frustrated having a lot of the decision making left to me by default. Having to initiate everything like going out for a day trip or meeting up with friends got old for me too.

I find it funny how women push for equality in most facets of life (which is fine obviously), but when it comes to taking the lead in dating or relationships, most of them outright refuse to do so.
>>
>>43008768

I’m the one you’re quoting here, and I’m a guy lol

I have plenty of preferences and specific tastes about things, but I don’t like being relied on to make every decision in a relationship. It gets boring and turns into a chore over time. Plus I already know all the stuff I like to do; part of the fun of getting to know someone is being introduced to new things you wouldn’t seek out on your own.
>>
>>43008940
>I’m the one you’re quoting here, and I’m a guy lol

Sorry yeah I figured that out right after posting haha. Inert people in general get on my nerves after a while. I’ve only actually dated one woman like that though. The other’s have really run the gamut in terms of how assertive they wanted to be.

My personal preference has been a roughly equal split maybe leaning slightly toward the other person taking the lead more often. I like when both parties are bringing something to the table, and then defaulting to whoever has stronger opinions about a given subject. You pick the music if you really give a shit about it, I’ll pick the wine kind of deal.

surpressing and shaming yourself for sexual attraction you feel is a big stress, and once you break free from that and accept yourself it's a great feeling and you can start living as your true self
also, if you come out to people you trust it really is a good feeling to be able to be yourself in front of people who care about you and accept you

in the wider LGBT scheme of things, being non-straight, you already are breaking the "laws" of gender norms, which then gives you the freedom to not care about them in general and do whatever you want and act however you want which feels very freeing
>>
Afternoon, /bigen/. Hope you're enjoying the first day of spring.
>>
>>43019022
Those are really great sentiments, and I would encourage you to hold onto them. That said I think you should know there is still plenty of rejection and enmity in the lgbtq world, and that goes double on this board. Some of that is justified- people’s life experiences and what being queer means to them can differ wildly. Some pay hefty social costs for who they are. You’re welcome to extend a hand in community with them, but it won’t always be accepted (again particularly on this board). Some people are also just embittered assholes.

You seem like a nice and earnest person, and that’s great :) just don’t expect it to be automatically reciprocated by everyone you identify as queer. Again, especially here on 4chan.

Oh also picking “team bisexual” might have put you in the most widely disliked cohort that posts on this board lol xD

oh definitely
straight women often don't like bi men because of insecurity and prejudices, gay men often don't like bi men too much either, and honestly, at times I can't blame them, especially when you see posts by closeted bi "straight" men on the internet who treat them as sex objects not worthy of love
and then bi women get discriminated against by lesbians and other queers, especially when they end up with a man
or they get sexualised by straight men

bi4bi is probably what I'd be most comfortable with, though if the person is normal whether a gay man or straight woman, doesn't matter too much
if a person is a bigot against me, whatever their orientation, then it's not really a person I'd like to interact with
>>
>>43020143

>>
>>43020190
>when you see posts by closeted bi "straight" men on the internet who treat them as sex objects

I've also seen the opposite side of this issue. When I was new to the city I live in now, I went to a few bisexual support/social groups in the hopes of meeting more queers in the city. It was a casual meeting where people could meet and shoot the shit and get support. I was very disappointed to find out that the "bisexual" group was mostly just men who'd married straight women and then started to cheat with men after marriage got boring. Several had strongarmed their wives into accepting an open marriage because there were shared assets and kids. I honestly was disgusted with the way everyone was treating this as the "standard" bisexual experience. I never went back.
>>
>>43020446
what is frustrating about that, is that since bisexuality emcompasses such a wide range of experiences, we are forced to be associated with such people as well

but I suppose there are bad apples in every group
well okay, everybody has their own truth and whatnot, but things like that definitely make me want to lean away from the straight experience more
>>
>>43020613
Agreed, and with experiences like that I definitely understand why there are the stereotypes about bisexuals out there that there are.

It is true also that bisexuality maybe has the most variance of any of the letters. It's so broad that it almost means nothing. It's how you get jokes about "bisexual women and their boyfriends". Since I'm in a same-sex relationship at the moment I dont at all mind "passing for gay" for casual acquaintances.
>>
>>43020662
I think it's hard to have a "bi community" for this reason. I pass as straight, even if I'm at a gay club I feel like I'm just there as an ally.
>>
i am probably bisexual cause some men make me hard but calling myself bi would be misleading at best. im straight in most ways that matter

You’re previous post was so upbeat and idealistic I was worried you were going to be surprised by a less than warm welcome from someone irl, or getting hit by a “kys” in response to another earnest post here. Glad to know you’ve got realistic expectations lol
>>
>>43020884
I think this is the source of "all the girls are bi now" trend. Women get to experiment with gender presentation and sexuality more liberally than men. And with the push for acceptance of lgbt stuff in the last 20ish years, a lot of people have reexamined their sexuality and realized things like, "well I would NEVER have sex with another man/woman, but sometimes they can be hot" and boom, suddenly they're bisexual on a technicality. But women latch onto this as an identity more, I think because there is no social downside for them in the same way there is for men.

In the past, I don't think people like that wouldve called themselves bisexual.
>>
>>43021156
Yeah but is it of any consequence? Are they bi in any way that matters to their social identity? Should they announce themselves as bisexual when they never intend to actualize that attraction on any material way?
>>
>>43015920
I’m surviving grad school apps rn and don’t have it in me to do long distance but thanks for the love anon :)
>>
>>43022061
I think it's perfectly reasonable to keep it to yourself if you want (or out of fear or disinterest in social consequences etc.) but at the same time it seems weird to call yourself something you're not. Like if I dyed my hair black then I wouldn't be black-haired since I'm naturally blonde - it would just serve as a sort of veil that makes me look like I have black hair (for a while, at least).
>>
>>43022054
ive done things with another guy before (didnt like it too much but he also turned out to be insufferable so the memory is tainted) but i wouldnt call myself bi.
i act straight and i dont want to date men, and i know normal guys whove experimented behind closed doors but thats different from being out and bi or some shit like that
>>
>>43022415
Honestly, things like this are why I shy away from labels. And yes "I don't like labels" is a meme for good reason, but it also allows for this kind of flexibility. Like, for instance, I'm currently in a same-sex relationship. When people assume I'm gay I rarely correct them, because it feels like pointless nitpicking. Honestly, I just don't care of people misunderstand me, or if they get the wrong impression.
>>
>>43022647
I mean I'm also a straight-passing bi guy, I only date women, as far as my family members and coworkers know I'm straight. But I've banged a decent number of women and men lol, my friends and girlfriend know. Socially I'm certainly straight(-passing), but I am still actually bi.
>>
>>43023469
Just curious: why would you not date men?
>>
>>43023628
I don't really get anything out of it romantically. Even spending the night with a man after hooking up is something that I've found annoying, whereas I don't get that annoyance with women (cis or trans) even if it's a one night stand.
I think my attraction to women is more "complete" sexually as well.
>>
Goodnight bigen, sleep well. I appreciate how chill you are compared to other recurring threads. Thank you for not being a continuous omni directional knife fight. I always felt good about being bi specifically, but I appreciate it even more after seeing how sane the average poster in this thread series seems to be.

My experience on this board in the last two weeks:

Come to bigen, feel seen and accepted.
Maybe the other threads are also good and /lgbt/ just more accepting than other boards on here.

Go to other threads, got told to rope twice lmao
>>
>>43026988
/bigen/ is basically the only place I come for general chats on 4chan anymore. Occasionally will ask or answer specific questions on other boards.
>>
>>43026988

This mirrors my experience here exactly lol.

The thing that gets me is how mean they are to each other too. Half the posts in gaygen seem to be thread regulars sniping at each other about petty bullshit. I’ve dipped into a bunch of the trans threads too, and a lot of it seems like it’s suicidal ideation over not passing, and then other users egging them on. I really hope the trans posters in particular have other communities they can go to if they actually want support instead of verbal abuse. It’s grim imagining any of them stuck here for lack of better options.

>>43026992

I think I’m going to take your lead on that one. Even if it’s slow here it’s nice to talk to relatively stable normal people.

Are there any bi women here who frequent the lesgen threads? Are those okay?
>>
why is r/sillyboyclub and r/sillygirlclub both filled with trans women idgi which one are you
>>
>>43027392
Any reddit sub that allows trans women inevitably gets taken over by them - even ones you would think are implicitly for other people like r/femboys and r/twoxchromosomes. The thing is, if you don't allow trans people the sub just get banned lmao. The site is such a shithole in part because of the same small group of power mods, many of which are trans, groomers, pedophiles or some combination of those.
>>
>>43027365
>Are there any bi women here who frequent the lesgen threads? Are those okay?
I do from time to time, but they overwhelmingly are populated by trans women talking about trans issues and doing the same stupid memes over and over. Even the cisles thread is mostly larpers
>>
>>43029490
>Even the cisles thread is mostly larpers
I'm not surprised
>>
>>43029370
Honestly, this becoming a problem.
>>
>>43029490

Oh damn that sounds frustrating. The gaygen threads seem to actually be mostly cis guys as far as I can tell. One of the recurring topics is hating on trans people lol.
>>
>>43030503
Eh, it's whatever. I don't rely on this board overly much for actual social interaction. I'm mostly here just killing time while bored at work.
>>
>>43030503
Mostly because they bully out other letters
Which I mean, sure, keep your cancerous general
It's part of the reason bigen is back
>>
>>43030525
Fair enough, thanks for offering your take on it. It honestly hadn’t occurred to me that it might largely be another mtf hangout.

>>43030548
Oh yeah I don’t like gaygen at all, the thread regulars are welcom to have it to themselves as far as I’m concerned.
>>
>>43030612
Honestly I tend to prefer hanging out with lesbians and gay/bi men because most bisexual women I know personally are bisexual in a "in name only" kinda way
>>
How do you pick up men out in the wild? btw I'm a gril

Serious answer if cis: go to a club and just cold approach. Most men will be flattered. Enjoy getting some good dick!
>>
>>43033470
Bi guy here- a woman who worked up the nerve to make the first move would already impress me favorably desu. I think all you’d need to do from there is a quick back and forth of small talk, maybe compliment something about them just to signal interest, and then ask if they’d like to grab coffee sometime.

If you’re trying to pick a guy up at a bar it’s probably even more straightforward. Chat for a minute, “hey I think you’re cute… wanna get out of here??” kind of deal.
>>
>>43034698

Lol that auto corrected “to be honest” to desu. Is that a thing the board does automatically?

I only know how to aggressively flirt with women so they don't think I'm being straight.

>>43034667
>>43034698
I know how to approach men at bars/clubs, but I'm struggling with the cold approach out on the street. Saw a cute guy at the library today - a fact that made him that much more attractive - but couldn't go beyond holding open a door for him as I was already undressing him in my mind.

>a woman who worked up the nerve to make the first move would already impress me favorably desu
Favourably enough to get sum fuk?

>>43034719

Trans guys who like piv are blessed and precious creatures. I still get to date a man but we don't have put up with the logistical hassle of anal except for special occasions.
>>
>>43034786
>Mr. Van Winkle
That’s honestly not a bad comparison lol. I was off the board for 10ish years, and then recently popped on again on /b/ and /pol/ to get a feel for what chuds made of a few recent events in the news. Got pulled over here hankering some interaction with other upstanding homos

>>43034865
>Favorably enough to get sum fuk?
Lol I’m not really much of a hookup type, but if I was yeah I think it would get you pretty close to the finish line.

Oh man the library sounds like a great place for this. You already know he’s probably not a shaved ape if he’s there, and you could comment on a book or tote bag as an opening line. I’d probably try to crack a joke if I was in your shoes and ended up talking with the guy for a minute.

Did you hit him with a “m’lady” when you held the door open for him? :p
>>
>>43034956
>Trans guys who like piv are blessed and precious creatures
Not ragebaiting, but genuinely how the fuck do you think of someone as a man if you are literally fucking their pussy?
>>
>>43034865
There is no deep plan here. Just be incredibly direct. Won’t work with all men but judging by >Favorable enough to get some Fuk?
You want a fellow horny little gremlin

Have fun and make him wear protection!
>>
>>43034865
I’m gonna assume not larp cause blessed if so. Go enjoy getting some! We’re cheering you on!
>>
>>43035120
It helps that I get to nuzzle up in his chest hair after. And also that he has a beard and no tits and actual muscle mass. And a voice that isn't a woman's (though he does sound like a little gay boy and I think it's very cute).
And if you have a basic understanding of anatomy you know that the reasons he feels good from getting fucked are directly analogous to the ones that do it for cis gay bottoms. Genitals between men and women are just the same set of parts shuffled around and resized.

NTA and it's the other way around but I've flip fucked with some trans woman and I still thought of them with women. They still looked, sounded, smelled like women. How they ended up with dicks is their business lol

Thanks for the tip, I’ll check it out.

Anyone got anything fun they’re looking forward to this week? It’s gonna be a quiet one for me, but last week was packed. I went to a soccer game, a surprise birthday party, and then dinner with my partner and her folks.

>Not a larp, just a little autistic.
random question, but how do you signal to a guy like you that you're interested? I feel like he's either unaware that I'm trying to flirt with him or he's ignoring my attempts to save me the humiliation of being shot down.
>>
>>43038985
If you’re willing to risk it I’m willing to bet you can make a tinder account just swipe right on everyone, find some cute guys you match with and just open with “can I suck your dick?” And you’ll have dick within 24 hours. We’re pretty easy

What if they rode you with some variation of an Amazon position. Maybe called you a little bitch boy, and were rough with you. Would that help?
>>
>>43040131
>how do you signal to a guy like you that you're interested?
I'm not a guy, but I imagine you just gotta be very straightforward. Don't just ask him out to coffee, he might think it's just that, but tell him you are interested. My other autistic friends are quite bad at figuring out someone's interest.

>>43040621
I bet, but I'm not one for the apps.

With the voice of a 14 year old teenage boy? Naaaahhhh
>>
>>43042770
The funny thing is that my bf and I are both switches and we both melt the instant the other one asserts dominance at all. So we're constantly bouncing back and forth during sex.
I particularly like when he's riding me and holds my wrists down and bites my neck.

What in gods name is up with the hate on bisexuals? It's bananas.
>>
>>43043999
Envy turns into hate very easily
>>
>>43043999
It's literally just homophobia. TONS of people join "woke" because they know it's good, but completely lack the metacognition to actually dismantle their prejudice and propaganda brain-coding. They know being homophobic is "bad" but their entire idea of "good" and "bad" is just "what can i get away with?"
They can get away with hating bisexuals because they're "not gay enough" or whatever retarded excuse they can come up with. It's pretty much the same reason there's a rise of genuine antisemitism (not just toward zionists anymore) on the left, they will openly hate whoever they can get away with.
