>>24743611Fuentes is actually incredibly informed and I doubt you've ever watched him outside of short clips. I was """""""alt right""""""" from around 2015 but always wrote off Fuentes until current year almost entirely because he has so many vocal detractors that essentially, and effectively psyoped myself and many others into just writing him off, "oh he's a gay mexican catboy don't listen to him." But really he is incredibly funny, passionate about his beliefs, and informed politically and historically. He has said some retarded things as jokes, and he has presented some retarded statements as facts, but he is a human man after all, and is thus fallible. His heart is in the right place, and often his mind is too. The only point upon which one can truly take issue with him is his avoiding legal trouble as an inciter on Jan 6th. I myself haven't fully decided yet if it is not just a series of explainable factors that saw him avoid the long overreaching arm of the law, and not that he is an asset of the intelligence services (I don't believe he is).

Robin Hobb's fiction has been translated into dozens of languages and sold millions of copies. At age 73, she should be able relax and enjoy her last few years of life as an esteemed author, right? Wrong. In blind polls, readers much prefer AI stories to her stories. And boy is she PISSED.https://mark---lawrence.blogspot.com/2025/08/the-ai-vs-authors-results-part-2.html?m=1
They should have told the readers that the AI was written by a woman, then I'm sure they would have preferred Robin Hobb.
>>24744022Guarantee you'd get similar results with Franzen or something.
>>24744011Robin Hobb is a woman? I always imagined them as a bloke, not going to lie.
>>24744011I took the test, the first and last stories (Jenny Wurts and Robin Hobb) I got right, they have a distinctive style and read like an actual short story and a scene from a novel respectively. The rest were a toss-up because they were vignettes, which AI is good at. I think the real difference is that AI will always put out something that's ok and human will vary anywhere from dogshit to a masterpiece, with fewer masterpieces than dogshit, so it's not surprising AI is better on average because it's always average. Story 2 and story 6 were total crap, in fact I wonder if the author of story 2 (Chris/Miles Cameron) deliberately made it nonsensically vulgar to try and game the test because he thinks AI can't write rude stuff. I was surprised by story 6 (Mark Laurence) because it's not a story, just a "quirky"monologue, which is exactly the type of thing AI would write.

Why don't more authors use incest as a plot device?
pic related has a TON of incest and it actually matters in the plot

Whoever is seething saying the God Delusion is cringe just gets filtered by Dawkings apalling personality & has never read it. He goes into extravagent depth with citations on everything and visciously debunks Christianity & Islam with archeological, geological, historical & other scientific evidence from every applicable field possible to the point where it becomes as blatently fake as Mormonism. He also dives into the church organizations themselves & their history of horrendous corruption. You will come out a changed person when you see religions. They are nothing but cults. It's a must read.
