I know most of you are faggots but does anyone on /lit/ have any erotica? Let's see and discuss.

I know I'm posting photography books but actual lit is appreciated. I genuinely enjoyed Anne Rice's The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty.

The problem I see, is that the OP itself (her/him) won't put his money where (her/his) mouth is. Post your work first, to encourage others to contribute. Not just ONE sentence story, or a "link" to a story, but make use of the god damn thread.
Other thing is, a 4chan user DON'T TRUST LINKS TO WHATEVER THE FUCK random site he doesn't know anything about. I don't ever follow links on this site EVER. Just youtube videos and that's it.

This is an anonymous board to make use of the freedom to write whatever the fuck you feel like writing and share thoughts with others. If you try again, you will have to put some effort in writing some stuff to get anons interested in writing their own shit. The problem is, they too will be hesitant to write their "masterpieces" and get their "brilliant ideas stolen" lmao
This "capitalist" shit system became such a deformity that people can't even shit a turd without taking it out of the toilet, and try to "sell" it.

don't get your brightly colored knee socks unraveled, anon. I did post my own to break the ice. In the general I tried to get going as well as here I posted.

You might ot know this, but an author dropping a *link* to a WEB NOVEL SITE, is not a "sketchy link" that can be tracked. All web-novelists regularly post links to their established commercial WebNovel sites they are hosted on.
>
granted if you wont click but a YT link that's on you. But you do you anon. Just sayng that in mor ethan one general thread here that authors posting links to their work is entirely normal.

Literotica is pretty good, has something for everyone while also having enough moderation to keep the vile stuff away (in other words it’s not Ao3). Probably the best collection of cuck/ntr stories on the internet.

I was reading in the library and I thought I heard a girl behind me say "you're fake". I know I wasn't being fake. I just had time to kill and I preferred to read in the library rather than on a bench in public. I take it as a complement because whatever she thought I was faking was genuine on my part, meaning I am actually pretty learned.

Why does this series make normies so uncomfortable?

To understand the normie, you have to think like one. Imagine that up until now your only exposure to sci-fi was Star Wars, where everything is black and white and spelled out in a way even children can understand. Now imagine you read Dune. The parallels to Lawrence of Arabia and Islamic history fly over your head because the only thing you read is Sandersonslop. The struggle between master morality and slave morality flies over your head because you've never read Nietzsche, and to you morality only makes sense in black and white. The mysticism flies over your head because the only thing you understand are autistically defined magic "systems." The cerebral aspect of the characters flies over your head because you only like characters that "likeable" and "unproblematic." The central thesis against charismatic leaders flies over your head because you're looking for a Luke Skywalker to cosplay. The worldbuilding escapes you because you have no grasp on even the basics of Middle Eastern history. Now, this would all be fine and good if all these layers were just secondary to some sort of plot, but the issue is that they're not. They are more important than the plot, and for you as a normie plotfag this is the final straw. This is why you prefer the movies to the books, as they completely strip away all the ideas that you don't understand and leave the hollow core of just the plot. I fucking hate Villeneuve so much, the most autistic director alive picked to adapt a novel of deep nuance was bound to end in failure. As shitty as Lynch's Dune was, it kept some element of the complexity of the novels, and ofc normies hate it for doing that.

I finished God Emperor yesterday and didn't really like any of the books. Am I just retarded?
>None of the characters in any of the books are interesting, they may as well just be cardboard cutouts
>Paul never really does anything bad in the chapters told from his point of view. All of the horrible shit happens off-screen

Genuine question, am I stupid and the books' 2deep4u themes are flying over my head? Nothing in them really seemed all that deep or philosophical, MAYBE Leto's fate of becoming the god emperor and trying to guide humanity towards the golden path but that's it

It was finally time. I had been waiting for this moment ever since the letter arrived last year. Nervously I sat at the new student's table, eagerly awaiting to be sorted into my fated House.
Both my dad, my grandfather and his father were all sorted into the house of ambition and greatness: Slytherin. And I knew that, despite my father's lack of faith in me, I was going to follow in their footsteps and make them proud. The Great Hall was filled with the excited murmurs of the other students but I kept quiet. Even though the sorting had started quite a while ago it seemed to progress slowly, increasing my anxiety. Was it my turn next? How about now? This wait ended up far more mentally taxing then the whole past year and I was about to lose my mind when I finally heard my name being called, breaking me out of my inner turmoil.

This is it! This is the moment! The feeling of pride, fear and anxiety filled my chest to the brim. My feet felt heavy as I walked up the small steps towards the sorting stool, Mcgonagall held the Sorting Hat aloft and motioned me to take place. I sat down so excitedly I nearly fell off. I must've looked like an idiot but nobody seemed to care. The hat was placed loosely on my head, almost covering my eyes and it began to mumble and ponder.

Eventually his mumbling became more coherent. "Hrrrmmm, you're a clever one aren't ya? Yes, with plenty of talents to grow into proper skills. Yes... yes... I'm thinking of... Rave-"
"NO!" I hissed underneath my breath. My entire body felt a shock as I heard the name. The hat also seemed surprised by my sudden surge of emotion. This couldn't be, my mind raced. I had to convince the hat to put me into Slytherin.
"Those geeks? Please don't." I begged. And the hat began to mumble again.

"Well alright lets see... you're loyal to your family and full of pride. With a willingness to stand up for yourself and others. How about Gryffyndor?" The hat pondered. I wasn't sure if anyone else could hear our little conversation but it seemed not to be the case. I again refused. "Those boasting bullies? Please mr hat, please reconsider".
The hat let out an exasperated sigh and the mumbling became more impatient. "Well you're a hard-working and determined, so Huffle-"

"NO" I hissed again. At this point I was visibly sweating. I felt my entire body drenched in cold. Hufflepuff? Really!? How could the sorting hat be so wrong? I could feel the eyes of the Mcgonagall and the rest of the Great Hall piercing through me, I was taking a long time and it was starting to grab attention. "Well" The hat mumbled irate "That means there is only one choice left isn't there? It seems you already made up your mind long before coming here. Though I spell disaster, I don't think there is anything to convince you so... congratulations, from now on you are in..."
>>
"SLYTHERIN!"
The hat shouted. I could feel my whole body being washed over with pride and relief. I think I nearly pissed myself on that stool. But right as Mcgonagall removed the hat it quickly whispered "Be careful what you wish for" and the whole hall applauded as I took my seat at the Slytherin table. I didn't pay any attention to the rest of the sorting, my head was both racing and paradoxically blank as I sat there basking in the feeling of success. I was roused from my well of thoughts by the final dismissal of the headmaster, the sorting had concluded. I hadn't heard a word of the final welcoming speech but I figured it wasn't that important and followed my fellow Housemates out of the hall. That is until someone tucked harshly on my robes. "Not you, you wait here for a minute" It was Mcgonagall who had a very stern look in her eyes. She turned around hastily and walked off. I thought of just following the rest of the students but I wasn't about to disobey a teacher on the first day of school and she seemed very serious so I instead just waited nervously while the Great Hall started cleaning itself for the next day. After a few minutes, which felt like an hour, Mcgonagall returned and beckoned me to follow her out of the hall without another word.

After walking for a bit she broke the silence. "You come from quite a prestigious family." Mcgonagall bluntly stated as she lead me through the now quiet halls of the school. The murmurs of the students were gone and aside from a few candles the hallways were large and covered in darkness. It all felt almost overwhelmingly ominous. I answered "Yes ma'am, I'm proud to follow in my families footsteps." No response aside from a slight huff. We returned to walking in silence for what felt like ages, going up and down stairs through this labyrinth of a school. Until we ended up somewhere that felt like a basement. It was damp and even darker here and I felt a shiver creeping up my body as some sort of vague warning. I was about to speak up but the tension was broken by Mcgonagall. "This is your House common room. No student of another House may enter. Be sure to remember the password" She said in a cold tone. I don't know why I got this special treatment but I was starting to get annoyed at her standoffish attitude. Shouldn't a teacher be more welcoming to new students? But as I was finishing that thought the stone walls in front of me started to writhe and morph as if it was alive, revealing behind it a large door richly adorned with silver, with snake motifs from top to bottom. "Go ahead" she said, and before I could thank her she spun on her heel and left the way she came at a hurried pace, leaving me standing in front of this door that suddenly felt intimidating.
>>
"Alright. Deep breath. Deeeeep breath..." I prepared myself mentally and placed my hand on the door. I was ready to give it a heavy push but with just the slightest touch is started to squeak open, revealing the amazing decor behind it. The room was massive with a lower ceiling, the wet-looking stone walls dimly lit by blue and green glowing orbs that floated around freely through the damp air. Everywhere you looked there was fancy furniture, exquisite art and luxurious-looking decorations. However, as I slowly stepped forward taking it all in with genuine wonder something felt very wrong.... where was everyone?

The common rooms were supposedly always filled with students from all years, but this place was bereft of anyone. Had they all gone to bed already? Aside from the sounds of distant running water it was deadly quiet. At this point I considered if all that transpired was just a dream and I was about to wake up. But I didn't wake, and it all felt far too real. I was starting to feel light-headed. All the rushing emotions of the past hour took their toll. This quickly turned to dizziness and nausea, I carefully took a few more steps forwards toward a small table and chair and leaned on them, lightly gasping for air. I could hear the door shut behind me and decided to sit down with my head wrapped in my hands, trying to regain composure.

I had barely gotten back to my senses when a new sound startled me into clarity. Heavy-sounding footsteps came from around the corner followed by a scream.
>>
"YOU PICKED THE WRONG HOUSE FOOL!"
A large, rotund, dark-skinned man clad in green came barreling towards me, holding the largest steel wand I had ever seen. I instinctively put my hands in front of me for protection, shouting for him to stop but he had already reached me and slammed the wand into my stomach, knocking the air out of me. I tried to plead with him but he just kicked me face-down unto the floor. I had no idea what was going on.
"Like it says in the books, we are both blessed AND cursed."
What fucking books!? Why was he doing this? Is this some sort of hazing ritual? My mind was racing, I had never felt pain like this and I was gasping on the floor trying to catch my breath. Another slam of the wand to my side. I started crying and tried to plead for him to stop but he completely ignored me.
"Same things that make us laugh, make us cry."

Then I could hear someone else approaching, was it someone to help?
"OOOOOOH Draco, my dog! Whassup baby!"
I could see a concerned-looking student, flanked by two others, approach us. But instead of reaching down to help he looked at me with pity. Then I noticed he was holding the Sorting Hat which had an expression of utter disdain, saying nothing as I was writhing on the floor.

The black man turned back to me and upon seeing my utter confusion, chuckled heartily.
"People have to open their eyes, and their hearts. I'm talking about the choices all people face. Sometimes, they seem real, but other times there's no choice at all..."
With those words he took one step, lifted his wand up high and slammed it downwards into my skull. Bits of bone and brain splattered across the common room floor. My short time at Hogwarts already at an end.

To avoid confusion, my posts:

I think I really, finally got to the bottom of it.
In the huge entry for refero in the Thesaurus Linguae Latinae (page 627), there is
> 6 quae fere pro mercede, praemio, dono sim. recipiuntur, colliguntur (ad usum cf. imprimis p. 605, 60 sqq.)
Almost every single example cited is a Late Latin author, with Tertullian appearing multiples times (unfortunately not with my excerpt, but they're not supposed to be exhaustive), for example:
> ut boni seu contrarii meriti iudicium a deo referat homo
So no wonder it's not in the Oxford dictionary with a cutoff date of 200.

The reference in the parentheses above is the equivalent of the spolia referre usage (as in "to bring home/back") that I had found before, so that confirms my suspicion.
It seems that in LL the meaning became more general and simply meant "to acquire", whereas in CL, some kind of movement there and back was implied.

Fantômas is strangely great, you would never think they were released once per month. It was basically automatic writing. Surrealists bowed to Fantômas.
There is a reedition of the original now but only the first 20 are out. Few are translated in English for some reason.
