I would like to for the simple reason that Alien is my favorite film, but it's not a priority. I intend to heed your advice, just not right this minute.

It's kinda neat how two great films came out in 1979, both with meaningful influences from Conrad (the other one was an adaptation, Alien of course is not directly from Conrad but vessel names derive from Conrad's works and my understanding is that Scott wanted the "mood" of Conrad in the film, in a way).
