Lets pretend we are in an english pub in the mid 18th century, a couple of pints later, what would be the Bible's answer to Jeremy Bentham? Would they fight? Would they conciliate? Would they become best friend?
>>
Bentham was a neurotic sperg, he'd fight right in with christians
>>
He would have been a child in the mid eighteenth century. Assuming you mean later, you'd be more likely to come to blows over the American situation or the French revolution rather than religion. Religious strife was largely a thing of the past by then

Betham: "The only masters are pleasure and pain."

Bible: "Agreed. Let me tell you about heaven and hell."

Think they'd get along.
