Any books about characters who wasted a decade and are now getting kicked out of university, and have no idea what to do, while still being dependent on daddy's money, plus they also have to do a year of mandatory army service?

Hard Mode: No Dostoyevsky.

This is a covert call for help I assume? If you don't mind me asking how do you even stay afloat at the university for 10 years before getting kicked out? Most universities from where I'm from will expell you if you fail to submit your thesis within 2 years of passing all exams. I was in a similar situation so perhaps I could assist you with some words of advice?

Do the year of service then stay there.

Until recently in my country you could stay at Uni for as long as you wanted. People would stay for 10, 15 years. Some because they were party-goers, others would be lazy, others would find it too tough. And our Unis are tough, the professors are stingy, it's a mess. But as luck would have it, a law was passed recently that made that obsolete, and from next year they'll start deleting people. It was passed in '21, and by that time I was in my 5th year. I thought I had the extra n+2 years they said (so in my case the n=4 of the Uni, plus two extra), and everyone assured me the law would be repelled. But it turns out the n+2 was true for people under 4 years at the time of the law's passing. For people like me, they gave me 4 years, which are up next year. I could try and finish with tutors, but my time for the mandatory army service is up, so I can't just try and speedrun it through 4 exam periods. I'm basically fucked.

Where, in the army? There's no mobility. You become a grunt with no way to climb up and barely enough money to survive.

Thanks for the tips...

I'm assuming you have a baccalaureate at the very least after a decade in university. Become an officer or a specialist MOS-equivalent, or a POG. Do a few years, get out with a dishonorable discharge, and go into the private sector.

Which country? It sounds like you either need to do the military service or get out of the country. France, Argentina, and several other countries will allow you to live, work, and study quite easily, I believe its as simple as entering the country on a tourist visa and enrolling in a university, which then qualifies you for a work-study visa. In France the universities are quite cheap, probably moreso than most Asian universities, and in Argentina its actually free for foreigners.

Try to find some independent means of income in the meantime. It will give you a lot more options.

just study???? bro, I don't get what your problem is.

kek, Greekanon has now migrated from /pol/ to /lit/. I have no suggestion on how to unfuck your life other than providing the consolation that your posts have been immensely entertaining over the years. Perhaps you could write a satirical novel about your life?

Agreed. Honestly, working on some memoirs would be a good way to supplement your income OP. You'd be the butt of the joke but owning up to it will soften the blow, and you'd still be an interesting character nonetheless which is something you can take to the grave.

I don't know what a baccalaurate is, but I have nothing, I'm getting kicked out; the last decade of my life has been a waste. And I don't know if the army works that way here. You either become a "permanent" grunt, who can maybe move up to sergeant if you do stuff like be a minesweeper for a decade plus. It's not really an option, if I want just a basic job to survive I can take over my parents' few fields and rent the apartment.

Greece.

I will do it, no way around it. Otherwise it's prison.

I don't want to risk going to a foreign country as I am now. The most likely case is that I'll un-register from Uni, go to the Military and do my year, then find a local college in my city, take a 3-year computer science degree, then try and turn that into a post-grad degree into a proper university and see if I get a job from there. So basically I'll have to wait until I'm 35 to do anything with my life.

I'm not the guy who was living in the dorms, I'm a different failure.
>>23540238
I have no exploits or anything to write about. I just stayed inside my room until my time run out.

why are people offering life advice instead of book recommendations?
