Hey guys recommend me short story writers.I recently read Edgar Alan Poe and I was fascinated by his way of writing so I did a little more research and discovered this type of writing. I think I know some writers of this type of stories but I wanted to see which ones they recommended. They don't necessarily have to be horror, any works for me.

Mariana Enriquez might be up your alley. She has another collection called "Things we lost in the fire".She sort of mixes the normal urban life with horror which lurks beneath the surface.
There is also Horacio Quiroga.he wrote a lot about nature and the jungle and the sort of dangers it presents. Here is one of his best " The Feather Pillow". Best read at night before going to sleep.https://gutenberg.net.au/ebooks06/0606301h.html
