Besides Gira's The Consoomer, what are some novels that have the same atmosphere as this album?

"Transgressive" fiction generally matches the juvenile and "edgy" tone and subject matter of bands like Swans. Hubert Selby, Chuck Palahniuk, Bret Easton Ellis, etc.

Hopefully you grow out of this though. Shocking the public consciousness should be a side effect of true art, not the goal.
