I just got to Chesterton on my reading list and I cant remember why I intended to read him and what books to read. Any advice? Thoughts on him.

I can only speak for myself, but Orthodoxy was tremendously disappointing after hearing it talked up so much on here. His arguments are on par with C.S. Lewis and his style is like a knockoff Oscar Wilde.
