>>23622374Better than any trending on booktok section I have ever seen desu/lit/ is one of the like 3 or so places I have seen genuinely decent discussion on literature, rarely, but I've seen it
>>23622374I wish it was real.
>>23622401Were real*Hypothetical, subjunctive mood
>>23622374I see Tundra hiding in the back left over there
>>23622390Where else? I'd like recs.
>>23622422r/booksr/literaturer/bookclub
>>23622407I know, but I don't respect English enough to care.
>>23622454Well, it is not impossible to have intelligent discussions on reddit, but they tend to harp on witty platitudes to get updoots instead of presenting real arguments (and if there are arguments they are usually towards the bottom because reading and understanding such an argument takes time an effort, especially comapred to empty phrases above that are easy to understand and are more likely to be upvoted up).
>>23622454>r/booksPlease no. r/TrueLit is this place minus the vituperative personalitiesr/RSBookclub is similarly decent.
>>23622454Joke response?I know with Reddit the base sub forums for X are always garbage and there’s always some “realX”/“trueX”/“Xcirclejerk” ones that have actual people.
>>23622457
>>23622480Decent discussion can be found on fan subreddits of a work you are discussing (if you are lucky to find an active one)
