What are some books that advocate acquiring more power as the ultimate goal of life and will help me to become more powerful? I don't care about sheepie ideologies like socialism, fascism, trannyism etc., I just want more power and want to remove all obstacles that inhibit the growth of my power

>>23924755Damn. You sound new, and not in a good youthful way.Regardless, I don't think these kind of people read books.
>>23924757ngl, exactly what I thought of>>23924755>that advocate acquiring more power asMost books about power management are going to emphasize that you're going to want to limit the extent of your power, because maintaining control is harder the thinner your resources are spread.

>>23924757>Lesser rock stars>Do some of the drugs>Die>Iggy>Do all the drugs>Live forever Fun fact: Iggy and Hunter S. Thompson were on the 90s television show Pete and Pete together. David Bowie was also Iggy's keyboard player during his solo act days for a bit.
>>23924770Iggy Pop and Alice Cooper used play golf with David Cassidy in secret, because Cassidy couldn't afford the pr of hanging out with Iggy or Alice, and Alice and Iggy couldn't affoed the pr of playing golf. Iggy apparently got his handicap as low as seven at some points, usually playing about 4-5 handicap

>>23924755There has been a historically prominent mix up around "Oh if I read books I will then know how to obtain power." How the most successful people obtained power, especially with those hunting power as their "ultimate goal of life," frequently have a tough time hiding how they got it. Many, but not all, will readily just tell you if you ask how they did it. The answer is almost never "I read a book once," though sure books can assist you along the way. Here's some better ideas. If you try at least one you are progressing towards real power: (1)Learn every-fucking-thing about a given industry. To the point all others you meet cannot compete with you on your knowledge.(2)Meet the correct people for your specific goals, make them like you and/or need you(3)Learn sales and/or persuasion, preferably by directly working with the best performers you can findIt is fate you will find there are not any shortcuts for -your- "ultimate goal" in this world. If there were, you wouldn't have made the poast. Friendly reminder that power is short term happiness for most though forever yearned for, there are things we could talk about that are more valuable. Like time. Reading 48 Laws of Power is exactly on topic as another person stated. I read it. It's interesting. However, I must tell you, people like GW Bush and Obama read this book already in the fold of power. Those are the type of people that will find the book applicable. Not poor people with crumbling networks and no influence. It's not a power101 book you read then you're better at shit. That is dumb. The book is for those with grand life experience already. Furthermore, whatever your life is or isn't - it is specific to you and this isn't accounted for. My $0.02. sorry for the rant my anonigs.
>>23925767>The answer is almost never "I read a book once,"kek, imagine believing in such fucking lies. no book has changed anyone's life. it's all chance and nothing else.
>>23925782How many extremely powerful, excessively wealthy, people do you know personally? How did you yourself obtain such immense power and wealth? I noticed you didn't mention any books. Oh right, you didn't. Maybe just one more read of 48 laws of power will do it ole sport.>it's all chance and nothing else. Are you illiterate and an actual adult helped you make this poast?

>>23926329The god of war resigns his room to me,Meaning to make me general of the world;Jove viewing me in arms looks pale and wan,Fearing my power should pull him from his throne;Where'er I come the Fatal Sisters sweat,And grisly Death, by running to and froTo do their ceaseless homage to my sword; And here in Afric, where it seldom rains,Since I arrived with my triumphant host,Have swelling clouds drawn from wide gasping woundsBeen oft resolved in bloody purple showers,A meteor that might terrify the earthAnd make it quake at every drop it drinks.Millions of souls sit on the banks of Styx,Waiting the back return of Charon's boat;Hell and Elysium swarm with ghosts of menThat I have sent from sundry foughten fieldsTo spread my fame through hell and up to heavenAnd see, my lord, a sight of strange import,Emperors and kings lie breathless at my feet:The Turk and his great empress, as it seems,Left to themselves while we were at the fight,Have desperately dispatched their slavish lives; With them Arabia too hath left his life -All sights of power to grace my victory. And such are objects fit for TamburlaineWherein as in a mirror may be seenHis honour that consists in shedding bloodWhen men presume to manage arms with him.
