One of the Blandings novels if you want fluff in its most perfect form.
I'm reading Autumn of the Patriarch and it's peak comfy, though a little heavy. Drinking trader joe's wine meanwhile.

Im re-reading murakami's norweigan wood and have found it perfectly compliments the fall / winter weather, especially when there's snow.
I'd imagine his more dream-like abstract books such as the wind up bird chronicles or kafka on the shore would also be pretty good this time of year but I'm strangely drawn to sad stories around christmas time.

>”A pity that I have to leave.”
>“But where are you going?” his mother asked.
>“Well,” he said, “we shall see.”
>“So you don’t know where you’re going yet?” she asked, “but you say that you have to leave.”
>“The one does not necessarily rule out the other,” Frits said. “One may need to leave without having to go anywhere. Those are the cases in which one must go away from somewhere.”
>“Stay and have a nice cup of tea,” she said.

Suttree is super cozy, especially if you're a McCarthy fan and haven't read yet
