Did the expriest accept or embrace Holden or whatever? It’s been a while since I read it but I remember him telling the kid that he was the only one who never accepted him, but I remember the expriest being the one who hated him the most. With if anything Toadvine being the second, the Kid just seemed to go along with anything.
>>24092994He literally tells the kid to kill him.
>>24093002Yes but the Judge comes back for the kid years later, does he do the same for Tobin and that’s why he says to the Kid you were the only one, because he got the priest to embrace him?I don’t remember Tobin’s ending being stated clearly
So did the kid just become a middle management or.somethingWhat the heck did people do in the wild west when they got all grolled up
>>24092994Have you ever met a seminary dropout?
>>24093016Took the money and went either to California or the East.
The priest and Toadvine both made their answer clear. The Kid didn't, so the Judge found him and by then it was too late.
>>24094594What was Toadvine’s answer? Sorry it’s been a while since I read it
>Reddit: the bookgo back
>>24092994he's cringe
>>24092994Judge Holden was right. Every thing he says in that book is true, and should be studied by philosophy students, so far does it outclass any of the "philosophy" they are taught. Holden summed it up, he spoke it elegantly, there is not a single man who can disprove his thesis about man, nature, and war. He is right.
