when im reading i say the words "full stop" in my mind when coming across a period.
>>24093593Do you do a cheeky little dance to accentuate the fullness of the stop?
>>24093597That would be ridiculous. Don't be ridiculous, anon.
>>24093593Do you still do it if you come across abbreviations like Mr. or Dr.?
>>24093593feeling very down and this made me laugh. bless you, anon
>>24093593When I encounter a comma splice in an author I respect it pains me, like hearing a wrong note in music. I say out loud: “No, that's wrong.”If I have a pen I correct it physically. This soothes me and makes me feel happy again.
>>24093988They call me Doctor FULL STOP Love
>>24093593lmao
>>24093593That was literally my life one month ago, good times
>>24093988Do you read Mr. as EM-ARR and Dr. as DEE-ARR while reading? If so, you might have a problem.
When I read comic books, in my mind I put emphasis on the words typeprinted in BOLD. I'm pretty sure that was the original intention, too, but these days it seems like they're just printing 'key words' in bold for speedreaders.
