Brandon Sanderson is building a giant Cosmere-themed bookstore in Utah called Dragonsteel Village. This is what winning looks like. Can you imagine a mopey tard like DFW ever pulling this off?

Now that Wired has told everyone he's boring and unassuming guy he's free to start his cult.

SFF cults are a good business model. Look at L. Ron Hubbard. Not sure how Brando will square this with his Church, though.
>>
if only he put a fraction of that effort into improving his writing

Real. Then again, if he can write the slop he writes and still get a convention full of fans every year, why would he do so? Integrity as a writer? He doesn't care.

Mormon ethnic nepotism is a superpower surpassing that of even the Brahmin and Ashkenazi varieties.

The Wired article that was written by a basedboy who cried in Sanderson's basement?

Why should he? He is happy with what he does, he is passionate about it, he has not only made a living but a fortune off of it so he can focus on doing what he loves, lots of people enjoy his writing.
I've never read a Sanderson book but the hate he gets is perplexing. Are you jealous? The man found his niche, good for him.

Is he surrounding himself with a experienced staff that know the ins and outs of running a brick-and-mortar bookstore?

Because if not, this could be a total shit show.

>you think his writing sucks so you're a jealous hateful freak
children think like this
>>

That isn't what I said. Is taking things out of context also how children think?
Tell me why he should improve his writing. How would that benefit him? He is happy with who he is and what he does, is that not enough?

Many Sanderson haters are former Sanderson fans who a) grew out of his stuff which is basically for teenagers and b) have noticed the decline in his writing abilities and are pissed off about it. I've seen this happen with tons of creators who go downhill.
