anyone taking notes from the books? im trying to find a sweet spot between too much information in my notes, and taking longer to write them, meaning i take longer to read a book and on the other side of the spectrum im scared that i wont have enough info and ill miss something important. any "systems" or ideas on note taking?
>>24116092I use obsidian. For your notes, make it extremely simple. Only write down ideas rather than relying mainly on quotes. Otherwise, your reading will become too slow, and your notes will get too large. example: (the number refers to page number)heading: chapter 1• 14) People tend to think in general and emotional terms including yourself.this is basically a version of zettlekasten note taking which is a whole black hole of content makers. so I would suggest finding something that is quick, efficient, and easy to understand even from some time away from your source. Pic is an example from a book on the Gospel of John I read from school some time ago. I like to write out why I am reading certain books to better be able to get the info I need out of it.
