So whenever I try to send an epub I downloaded from Internet Archive to my Kindle, it fails. I'll get an email which says
>could not be delivered due to E999 - Send to Kindle internal error.
Anyone else have this problem, or know how to fix it? When I download epubs from Gutenberg, they work fine, but Internet Archive's epubs are messing me up. Thanks.

Calibre
>>
Try this faggot:
https://www.amazon.com/sendtokindle
>>
>>24116890
Did you read my post?
>>
Should've bought a kobo
>>
It's because you're pirating books and sending it to Amazon through an email that is linked to your Amazon account
>>
Why would you buy a Kindle over a Kobo?
>>
>>24116881
>Kindle
Using an eReader tied to digital distributor at all is just retarded, anon. eReaders shine when you use them to pirate shit. It's like having to explain why iPods were fucking stupid to normies all over again.
>>
>>24116901
>>24116915
That can't be true, because it works when I use epubs from other similar websites. It's just IA which gives me trouble.
>>24116900
>>24116908
Who said I bought it?
>>
>>24116926
Just use calibre
Why bother sending them through email?
Seriously, think for a fucking moment you goddamn idiot
>>
>>24116881
Try a different site or use this https://epubsfix.netlify.app/

I don't.
>>
>>24116901

I fail to understand how the Kindle or amazon would be able to determine whether any individual epub file was pirated or not.
>>
Download the kindle app and send it through that.
>>
>>24116942
>I don't.
seems to me like you do unless you lied in the OP.
>>
>When I download epubs from Gutenberg, they work fine, but Internet Archive's epubs are messing me up.

A weird mechanism for copyright. Can be remedied by simply running the epub through a converter and putting the file type you want as also epub, which should remove that

Although imo IA epubs are shit and you would do better with anna if possible
>>
>>24116897
No, what did it say?
>>
>>24116955
Because all legitimate ebook purchases are distribution protected. Go ahead, try to buy an epub online, I’ll wait.
>>
Kindles cannot read epub files
>>
>>24117098
That’s incorrect unless you have a very old kindle
>>
>>24116955
They can't. I've only been reading pirated shit on my Kindle just fine.
>>
>>24116881
That means the file is cursed, get a different one. Sometimes I go through 4-5 different epubs of a single book until I get to one that Kindle accepts and throws no error.

Just go to libgen and download all the options for your book and try them one by one. If none of epubs work, get the book's fb2 or mobi and convert online to epub - this worked for me too.

You can hook your kindle up to a computer and just drag and drop the epubs in like a flash drive
>>
>>24116881
>>24116889
Yeah Calibre usually does a solid job converting to the necessary format

Use calibre to convert the epubs to azw3 and copy them to your device.
>>
>>24116970
Nowhere in the OP did I say I was emailing them to my Kindle, though I did try that and it didn't work. I said I used the sendtokindle feature.
>>24116979
>you would do better with anna if possible
Thanks. I tried to download the same books from Anna and it worked without a hitch.
