Having watched a number of his interviews recently, I have been thinking about how apolitical he manages to be.
I have just started E Pluribus Unum. He is obviously against consumerism, technology and the fusion of the two. I haven't read or heard any hint of "solutions" from him yet or framing that indicates conservative leanings, he could go either way. He would probably claim that being political was his job and his face would probably start twitching in various ways if someone tried projecting politics onto him. Maybe someone else knows.
