>>24118925Comfy and great escapsim for the modern day. To be able to travel the world in the 70s, to write poetry freely. Maybe a 100 pages too long, and some of the narrators towards the end of part 2 are insufferable. But overall a good read.I've yet to read 2666 but it seems like it's meant to be a kind of continuation of some of the themes brought up in The Savage Detectives, so yeah, but not necessary.
