I don't understand how people didn't get bored with this series (the books, I haven't seen the show) when they eventually realized that Good characters literally don't ever die in it. None of the tension or suspense or battle sequences mean anything because Robert Jordan adamantly refused to kill off any heroic characters. So you just continuously saw an increasing cast of heroes (because he couldn't stop introducing new fucking characters for the life of him) battling a shrinking cast of villains.
