This is a book written by Clive Cussler, and no-one else. As you can tell by the prominent placement of the name, Clive Cussler. If you google Clive Cussler, this image titled Clive Cusller comes up, because this book was written by Clive Cussler
he's a brand they kept going after he croaked like idk that fashion guy with all the skulls oh ya alexander mcqueen
>>24119255Who's Mike Maden?
"Carolyn Keene"
>>24119255>DJI drones>Ukraine tower>attacked by lightning>three drones stacked in bottom rightwtf is this cover
>>24119566It's not AI for sure. Nope, not an AI image at all. Furthest from AI you'll ever see. They only use real artists, as you can tell from the cover art.
>>24119566Also, you missed the torpedo coming in hot just to the right of the spolsion'.
>>24119571that's not ai that's a fast and dirty photoshop 90s style
>>24119580I am fast and dirty with your nearest female relative, 90's style
>>24119571>>24119580Thee ship itself looks AI generated. The yellow things look poorly added on (and are probably not very safe to have on a helicarrier).>>24119578An image of a ship with a torpedo coming towards it would just be a normal book cover
>>24119580It's kind of like AI, in that the more you look, the worse it gets. There's an Osprey on the deck of the ship between the cranes lol. This cover delivers.
>>24119589maybe but the drones look cut and pasted and the lightning looks like some shit out of a janky lightning plugin for photoshop they torrented
>>24119589>An image of a ship with a torpedo coming towards it would just be a normal book coverBy itself it would. This is just banana cakes. Any one or two elements alone would be fine it's the complete lack of restraint that's hilarious. I have read books with covers crammed full of details meant to reference events in the novel and it can actually be fun to see if the cover shows things that actually happen in the book or not or be reading along and recognize where the cover is being...covered in the book. I'm high.
>>24119593Your average professional graphic designer>>24119598My bet is that everything on the cover does occur, but at different times
So are any of Cussler's books actually any good?
>>24119764Do you like tom cruise movies? If yes then yes.
>>24119255You don't understand how normal people buy books. They don't really follow series, just the author they once read and liked.
>>24119778But it's not by that author. Which is the whole point. You don't understand this thread.
>>24119255Oh fuck, I didn't even know he died. It's been an interesting couple of years. I don't recognize Maden - I don't recall him co-authoring any of Clive's later books.
>>24119764Yeah, a couple of them are OK, keeping in mind that Cussler stated that whenever he ran out of money, looking for another shipwreck, he'd crank out another book. His details are always spot-on accurate, but the characters are almost excruciatingly one-dimensional>The Mediterranean Caper>Iceberg>Vixen 03>Night Probe>Pacific Vortex...annd that's it. Anything after 1993, written by him, without a co-author, is unreadable. His NON-fiction books, however, are highly entertaining and, very much, worth reading>The Sea Hunters>The Sea Hunters II
