When I was riding my bike to as a kid two kids on a bike were coming towards me from the opposite direction. Then one raised his middle finger to me just before passing. It made me really upset because I knew it was a bad gesture and I didnt understand why someone would do that for no reason.

When I was a kid I kissed a random girl who was passing me on the sidewalk. She invited me to her house which was right next to us. I went in, and her big brother was there. He had a knife and was asking me if I needed any pimples popped with it, but I didn't have any pimples. We went into her room, and her old panties were on the floor.

I'm writing a comedy about a token black man in a progressive town getting falsely accused of raping a little girl. The man, knowing there's no point in denying it, as no one will believe him, says he did it, but only because the little girl used the n-word. The town gets divided and they don't know whom they should support. Any suggestion for the title?

They have to treat you anyway. This is one of those "take the debt so you can live" type of situations. Plus, and I don't know about your hospitals, but last time I went, there's a financial assistance form you can fill out. Granted, I was too lazy to do it so I'm sure I have the debt somewhere in the system, but it's for people like us.

Don't take the debt! Foreigners/undocumented use the medical system all the time. The hospital just writes it off as uncollectable.

I wanna have kids and live the illusion of a happy life beforehand
>>
>>24706251

What did I ever do to deserve this. My childhood was not some happy stress free haven to look back on. My mother used to beat me and we lived in her terror. Like she would beat the living shit out of me if I did not do my homework or learn my lessons enough. Imagine occasional blue bruises and rare bleedings

In school things weren't much better. I was a completely invisible social pariah at best and a constant victim of bullying and derision at worst. I developed depression and actually used to believe that I'm the worst lowest scum on the planet. This was my daily life. I lost all sense of self worth and never quite recovered it. Don't even need to mention the romantic side of things.

For a time I had hope. I thought that with my good analytical mind and love for sciences I could overcome myself by becoming a high earning STEMcel. Even had some success on that front and after 3 years of work got myself into a top STEM school in my country. Only for all of that to come to nothing because of my inherent fear and paralysis preventing me from taking any initiatives in life. I botched my scores and ended up an unemployed graduate. I ended up spending the last 15 years of life glued to a screen trying to distract myself from my own life and mind.

Now, I work a dead end job, unrelated to STEM, for feds while many if not most of my peers, even those less smarter than me are doing far better. Never had a romantic relationship while girls my age have been in one for almost 20 years by now. My premature balding is not longer possible to hide and medication won't fix it. I never experienced the pleasures of sex when I still had a functioning dick and a libido. Now my libido is half dead and I have chronic ed, so I guess those experiences will never ever happen to me. I can lay with a hot naked hooker and
feel nothing. Depression comes and goes. I am still only barely socially adept and any new interaction fills me with anxiety. I don't even know why I'm alive anymore.
>>
For most of my adult life, I've worn my wallet in my back-left pants pocket. However, this year I got this nice pair of shorts I've worn a ton throughout the summer which only has a back-right pocket, so I've begun to get used to that, only when I wear jeans I go back to the left, and I'm starting to become unsure if I should commit entirely to the back-right or keep switching depending which pants I'm wearing!

The big breasted mailwoman just gave me the biggest and nicest smile I've gotten from a woman in I don't even know how long. And that's despite me looking like a hobo at the moment, hair disheveled and beard unshaven. Wtf. Did I misinterpret her facial expression and in reality she was internally laughing at me because of how terrible I am looking right now? Has to be it. Women never smile at me.
>>
>>24708080
>total (100%) extinction in 30-50 years, by things that were set in motion decades ago
You're making the same mistake as peak oil shills do. The point of those absolute and total extremities never arrives, because to achieve 100% extinction, you need a system that keeps perpetuating itself past critical failure points. Most of the time they reach critical failure, but even with a population decline to 0.000125% or 10,000 people left, you would still be able to avoid inbreeding even if your only method of travel was from the stone age.

Hmmm. Well, there was an attempt. I like the idea, but you can do better than this, even if it's that line break stuff that gives people autism. In general, keep it brief. Use concrete imagery. I'd throw in a line break before with and add a second thing for Milano so the structure is similar. You can shorten the last line too. Something like "I live in a nobody city; could be anywhere."

>>24708828
This is more prose than poetry. Say less, divide it more, and try to focus more on rhetorical devices. Here's how I would edit it.

I walk on verandas often;
between home and wilderness.
The moment's moonlight lingers

The sleepy city,
peaceful verandas,

Perhaps,

I'm tired today bros. Sometimes I think life would be much simpler if I was stuck in society's current like most people. Just going with the flow and having quaint little worries about living up to arbitrary standards. The life of a lemming doesnt sound so bad at all at times.
But my inner innate disposition guides my journey away from the simple valley joys and towards arduous climbs towards solitary peaks. Knowing the summit is unreachable yet I must constantly continue my climbs lest the gravity plummets me unwillingly yet willingly to an early grave. Its lonely on my mountain yet the views can be quite pleasant at times.

i'm not making a mistake; in the worst-case scenario it's (literally) 100%...
research is still in early stages, but it indicates we might have 5-10g of microplastics in our brains (like a packet of sugar's worth, or something), on average.
it is believed that this amount is increasing, and might double in only 15 years. and we believe this is UNIVERSAL (hence 100%).
if this is case, and the it our body can retain (without plateauing) this increase, in like 30 years, it will show real, serious symptoms. and there would be some threshold where we can no longer function properly, or reproduce, or something.
this is "a system that keeps perpetuating itself past critical failure points".

i read it earlier. your current state wasn't caused solely by your upbringing. some people start off worse, or better, and land in the exact same spot.
for what it's worth, even if you're in your 40s, you can bounce back. just think-- if you swapped places with some competent man, he would probably be able to sort you (himself) out in no time. physically, there is nothing stopping you from being that man.

Anytime an odd action is analyzed, and the perpetrator is presented as a loser/outsider, that seems sufficient for most to explain why said action is bad and detrimental to the perpetrator. They will instead suggest that said person should become "normal". However, nobody ever seems to consider whether that action may have been the best choice for that person, who may always be a loser and thus is just doing the best they can with what they have. By assuming everyone is the same, one fails to understand the actions of a person who is fundamentally different from themselves and from society at large.

I left because the vibes were off and never saw her again, so I went to my friend's house which was where I was going in the first place. I've actually been in a bunch of strangers houses when I was a kid because I was dumb and liked to explore, and my mom didn't care where I'd go for hours, even explored the city at night as a kid, and did lots of stupid stuff by myself.

me 2. but not so much strangers, as they were kids i would barely know; you'd just wind up at their house, stick around and the parents might let you stay for dinner or whatever. maybe you never hang out with that kid after. i guess that's almost exactly what you were describing

Anon, we survived 1 in 3 having syphilis and everyone having tb for hundreds of years. There are people breathing in petrochemical off flow directly since birth who still make it to 35, which reproductively speaking is beyond any expectation for our species. The kind of acid fog that used kill tens of people a year in London now appears in China, and we still produce enough children we could let off most our nuclear bombs and still have non affected children. Yes, plastics are bad, but no, it's not the worst thing to happen to us. It's not even going to take us out at the same rate as smallpox, let alone a good cholera outbreak.

I understand liking Trump if he institutes policies you approve of or pisses off your political rivals. But I don't understand viewing him as messianic or even heroic. My mom genuinely thinks God saved Trump from that assassin despite his obvious disdain for Christianity or personal ethics in general. I don't get it. >No no the end will come in our lifetime and from our doing because we are the super important cho-
Lel no. No more than the last time. London was meant to drown under horse shit but someone invented the motor car. Then we were all going to die of lead poisoning for the ten millionth time, largely because people didn't want their cars to make as much noise as an upset horse. Then we made unleaded and got upset about other things destroying our atmosphere. Sure we're buying plastic clothes with insane air miles from dodgy slave labour outsourcing enterprises which give us lead poisoning again, but when we were doing that the first time, over a hundred years ago, ladies' dresses used spontaneously combust, so every time we do the stupid thing we do at least iron the creases out a little.
There's such focus on micro plastics and forever chemicals that we will probably dedicate enough resources to it that the problem ceases to exist. However, the kids it ceases to exist for will still buy lead containing products of dodgy, probably slave origins, and rub it in their skin knowing it's poisoning them but it makes them feel nice, just like you would have stuck your dick in that pre antibiotic syphilis pussy if it were ever that cheap again.
>>
>>24709652
you implying that my interpretation is based on us (both who and when) being the center of the universe does not contradict that timing or reality of the industrial age, nor the entropy of plastics or whatever research surrounding that.

besides that, my argument was how this specific potential catastrophe differentiates (ie self-perpetuating, where the others dont). you can cling onto whatever else you think is going on, but this fact remains

>>
>>24709683
They're not self perpetual though. They do break down, but not to infinity. There's a point where they have all been produced. That's a large problem, not a self perpetuating one. Most of the truly offensive forever chemicals are already out of production before the public knows to be scandalized. Microplastics are a large problem, but so was the hole in the ozone layer. Microplastics do not breed themselves into world dominance, and are limited by the amount of plastic we can produce. Unless the microplastics plan on talking to oil reserves in other planets, they cannot self perpetuate.
The realities of the industrial age are deeply shielded from you, unless you're in one of those areas where the fog does kill you like London in its industrial age, which I doubt, because microplastics wouldn't be making the top of your list if you were.
People always like the idea their hell is fresh, and it's really not.
>>
>>24709741
lol not talking greygoo levels of self-perpetuating, just whatever level of abundance makes the extent irrelevant (if we're already toast). really just discussing potential, not how likely it is; though, it's not that far fetched

What's the point of travel? I studied Japanese years ago and finally went for the first time in June. It was disappointing. I ended up just riding the bullet train, wandering around the cities, and writing a 140 page travel diary chronicling every little thought that entered my mind. Maybe it's just not for me. But I'm curious what everyone else gets out of it. There are a record number of tourists in Japan this year. But why? Everyone talks about how good the food is and how nice the Japanese are. But you can find good food and nice people anywhere. I guess there are some mountains and old buildings to look at. But there's all this talk of "culture." How can you experience a place's culture if you don't even speak the language? I would've learned much more about Japan if I'd just read some books instead.
I might just be jealous of people who are capable of enjoying themselves. The sort who spend their entire time shopping and getting drunk and then go home and tell everyone what a gay old time they had. But sadly, I am intelligent enough to realize that nothing is worth doing.

I can't wait for the future where the decisions of corporations are decided by female spending habits while men get pushed to the sidelines. If it's not already here.
>>
>>24710486
Females generally dictated household expenditure. That was the benefit to female consumerism under the couverture system, that debts, like everything else, were in the man's name. It's why pin money could be thousands of pounds in a time where that could buy you a large portion of a small country.

Homogenization is part of it, but not entirely. It's true that, even on the other side of the world, people just look at their phones all the time. Also, almost all the important signs are in English, so I hardly ever had to use my (mediocre) Japanese. But I think the main problem is that I spend too much time in my head and not enough time appreciating the outside world. I'm not an outgoing person, and neither is the average Japanese. I had a few conversations with strangers. Most were pretty brief, but I did go to lunch with a random guy. It was a decent afternoon, until I realized later that he was trying to recruit me into a cult.

Tumblr and Reddit seem to emphasise the sensory problems more (needing to stim, not liking bright lights and scratchy fabrics and such) while 4chan autism seems to be more about being a weird social outcast, if that makes sense? Tumblr in general seems to emphasise the Cute and Childish aspects more, but that's not surprising since a lot of its users are teenage girls. Reddit autism is also a bit cutesy but also a bit more practical. 4chan autism feels more blunt and self-interested.

A stereotypical Tumblr autist would wear bright colors and noise cancelling headphones and stim while talking to you. A Reddit autist would talk at you about whatever niche interest they have (probably some kind of movie or game). A 4chan autist would say something blunt and off-putting, then just stare at you weirdly.

I might have gotten on the 4chan boat too late. Feel like these people have always been there.

Oh sad and old, are you? Good.
Fuck you.
Fuck Music
and most of all
Fuck your stupid fucking violin.
>>
>>24711014
What about really slow piano music?
>>
As an older anon who had everything but squandered it, I just read the dying animal and what remains of the day, and I can’t say I recommend it
>>
i'm cringing so bad for a message i sent this girl i'm seeing. not in english (so slightly better sounding), but i wrote to her: "come and get yourself, you are here in my arms" and i'm not sure if i should say sorry or something
>>
>Lumber Prices Are Flashing a Warning Sign for the U.S. Economy

Eh it's fine, I had Piano classes, at one time. But the professor dropped me pretty quickly after he realized I had as much interest in the instrument as the average person has for parking meters. Refunded their money and everything. The short duration of the thing prevented me from developing an aversion.
Never actually practiced violin. Just got gifted one for a birthday. This angered me because I have never manifested inclination for music, not even once.
>>
>>24711024
weird but it might be ok depending on how she flirts
>>
>>24710992
which nerve lol? you are the one that was jealous of the romantic couple in the park
>>
>>24711028
I never manifested an inclination for anything, to be fair. I wanted to cease to exist and also engage in my fantasies and that's about it.
>>
>>24711024
This is either super cringe or really romantic, depending on the context.
>>
I made a weird realization. I always thought that people were meek because they were cowardly and stupid. But I figured out that it's a lot more work to be malevolent. So people are sheep just because they're lazy.
I can hate people if they're dumb and cowardly, but I cannot blame them for being lazy. In the end, if you're doing any work it's for other lazy people, so I can understand it. Why would you want to put the effort?
The world seems to make sense, but without my hatred for normies I don't know what to do. The others are rich or powerful or so far away that they don't register as people to me but more like natural calamities. And honestly it's not that evil to be malevolent toward the evil. Does the world deserve justice? I mean, cattle niggers don't deserve anything good but I don't care about giving them vengeance either because they're just very lazy and they like to nap.
It's better if things stay exactly the way they are. Nature wins again. This is the best possible world.

I preferred the first decade of this century, honestly.

we are very intimate and have been for about a year (going on holidays just the two of us etc) but we're never explicitly romantic, just express gratitude for each other

You said "this girl I'm seeing", that implies romance.

why would you willingly listen to AI slop? Especially this stuff that piggybacks on old artists. It's so transparently about gaming the autoplay algorithm to make easy money. It's not art, it's a scam

I'm on a call with a chick and I don't know what to do. We were talking all regular and shit and then she said she was going to sleep, but she didn't say goodbye or anything, she just went to sleep on the call with me. What do I do? I'm not opposed to the idea of staying on the call all night, lol, I just don't know what my next move should be.
>>
>>24711394
She either forgot or she's doing one of those new zoomer things where couples phone sleep or whatever you call it.
>>
>>24711412
No, she's aware that she's doing it. And she's 27, lol. And we're not a couple. Fuck it, I'll just stay on the phone all night.

Ask her out when she wakes up.

Nah, she's a goes to church twice a week kinda Christian, and I'm an Atheist. It wouldn't work.

All I did was (diegetically) call an anon a mutt, but in the sense all of humanity are mutts in some manner, rather than insulting a specific ethnicity. The tranny in charge of looking at my very sensible ban appeal (permanent btw) rejected it, so now I'm posting here.
>>
>>24711691
You did way more than that. Only admins can drop permabans, and only after review. Surprised it isnt a global, to be frank. Anything more than 3 days needs mod approval, anything longer than a week was seen by the admin. If it's an issue go to the IRC, but sounds to me like you were posting pizza.

coming back from the library and some work out, it´s almost 10 in the evening. flatmates all turned in early today, no lights in the apartment. I fixed myself a cup of protein shake and sit in the dark in my room for some time.
