Would this concept work well? Star Wars with mecha?
>>22588735Only if it'll be normalized for jedis and siths to pilot their own tier of mecha, now that would be 10/10 actually>crash each other mecha and do the final fights in swordplay out of cockpitMove along George Lucas, this anon knows what's up
>>22588974How would Jedi/Sith mecha look like?
>>22588735This looks really funny but if we were comparing the actual sizes between the At-st and the ground gundam/gm, it’s head would be rather tiny making this something like a heavy weapons guy like ms
>>22589164AT-ST as a whole is around 8-9m, that'd make this, what 12 meters? 13?
AT-AT's and the chicken walkers are already mechs imo
>>22589313i think they mean humanoid walkers being in star wars
>>22589434There are bipedal droids as well.
>>22588735Dark Empire 2 had the Balmorrans utilizing the SD-9 and SD-10 droids, which were humanoid shaped in nature. The Balmorran Viper X-1's were also capable of being piloted and were semi-sentient, as were the Basaliskian's Wardroids which were used as combat mounts by the Mandalorian tribes.
>>22589434It can obviously exist but I think power armor fits Star Wars better. Maybe Battletech type stuff
>>22588735>Star Wars with mecha? So Star Wars?
The lore for the Transformers crossover toys is that they're transforming mechs, that look like the pilots, being piloted.
>>22590123And the same was used for the Marvel crossover toys.
>>22589313>>22589830This. Star wars has mechs and besides, all the characters are pilots that fly ships anyway.
Hear me out:Star Wars with ZOIDS
>>22590244It’s even a republic vs empire scenario
>>22590244Good idea right there
>>22588735I just wanna see more Mecha stuff set outside the Sol System. I wanna see giant robots fighting on strange alien worlds.
>>22592758Multiple Transformers series do this.
>>22588735
>>22588974Hasbro tried something like this back around 2008 with their Transformers and Star Wars crossover line. It had characters piloting giant transforming mechs of themselves. I think the idea worked for faceless/helmeted characters like the clones and droids, but the idea of Luke building a giant mech of himself is a pretty silly one.
>>22594664>>22590123Notably, these toys weren't designed by the normal Transformers team, which explains their wonky aspects.
>>22593989Okay now this is kino
>Don't be so proud of this technological terror you've constructed>The ability to drop a colony is nothing compared to the power of a newtype
Found a TIE Fighter - rebuilt it into a mecha
>>22600420Neat stuff.
