There's ID-0 which is about deep space miners. I enjoyed a lot of the world building and science in it, wish it got more episodes or a second season.

BattleTech is obviously not a peaceful setting, it's in the name, but within it there are peaceful applications of 'Mech technology. The Marco is designed for surveying terrain that could otherwise only be inspected closely by people on foot since tracked vehicles can't climb and aircraft have limitations on range, uptime, etc. Even in the real world there's a lot of land that has never been fully surveyed, we can see it with satellites and aircraft but we don't know what's really under the treetops or inside the mountains because nobody's gone scouring it on foot and taking samples of the terrain.
