There were 3 kits and 2 of them were just parts/color variants of ancient HGs and everyone knew it. The Jarja was P Bandai and why would people be scrambling to buy a recolor of a retail kit that had just come out?
They didn't sell because they were minimum effort. If the Tristan got a complete new mold with modern technology instead of peg arms, it probably would have sold better.
