Please defend your statement, literally everyone hated the way this thing looked when 00 S2 started airing, especially when put side by side the suit it was supposedly the successor to (the GN-X line)

It's one of those designs that looks cool in action but bad in the lineart. Watch how it performs in the show (the very first time Exia sorts in S2 it gets its ass kicked, and Graham fights 00 to a standstill using one), and it's hard not to like it.
