Divergence Eve is fairly interesting because, despite looking like a mediocre ecchi show, it's strikingly similar to Webdiver. The screens and control rooms are similar, the characters plug into a computer system to fight otherworldly monsters in another dimension on an episodic basis, and the first season has the same ending as the first half of Webdiver. The second season takes off in a different direction, though, but since Divergence Eve and Webdiver have the same director/studio, and Webdiver's original second half plot was much more sophisticated before getting scrapped for being confusing to kids, I can't help but wonder if the S2 plot of Divergence Eve is the original plot of Webdiver's second half. The villain of Divergence Eve S2 is pretty cool; he's one of my favourite anime villains, and the story is also pretty neat, incorporating lots of technobabble.
The fact that this wasn't even in X-Omega despite all the other Geass stuff in that game tells me this may happen.
