The issue with Gaim is just that most armors, bellow the actual armor part had a solid plastic piece keeping the armor together, which was colored after the primary user's undersuit. Someone in Gaim's production REALLY didn't want the color of that part clashing with the undersuits. They seemingly made an exception for the Silver parts on Banana's Armor being used on Gaim's blue undersuit though, but even in the Hyper Battle Video, where they made a quick sequence with a gimmick of switching around all the armors, they covered that part with some paper to "recolor" and match the undersuits when it wasn't silver.
