It’s wasted, though. They went out of their way to make the F91 lean into the “small, high performance unit” idea, but forgot to design the rest of the units in the movie along the same lines, just making them mini-large scale suits.

>>22941041No, the Jegan is supposed to be the only mobile suit still in service built at the same scale as early UC. Everything else (I think the MP model in F91 was called the Heavygun?) is already supposed to be miniaturized. The problem is that they just look like big suits directly scaled down, instead of like the F91, designed properly for that scale. So the F91 feels out of place in its own movie. Kind of wasted. Especially when the final villain is so big all mobile suits from any era would look equally tiny in comparison. It's sad, because it's so pretty
