>Project Studio Q (which parent company is Khara) is making a Star wars anime>previous works includes DARLING in the FRANXX, Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0, Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution, Sakura Wars the Animation, PROMAREI would have prefered Sunrise but I guess we are getting a Star wars mecha anime
also there's this mecha on their website which I struggle to recognize, maybe from a short...?
>>22943913same for also this character, though the outfit does look scifi
Sunrise is in some kind of production shitshow right now
>>22943924are they? They have plenty of studios available. Like, 10 of them, I think it's more that Star wars vision want to use studios more known to "modern anime watcher", and Sunrise isn't really known anymore to most people internationally
>>22943913dude really? I guess you didnt see the new eva movies, thats Unit 02 at the beginning of the third film.>>22943917casette girlhttps://youtu.be/HhwXxjiqDEU?si=cEPhg9cY7AUPksRB
>>22943943Fuck I completely forgot the Unit 2 Frankenstein design, thanks !
Time for a rematch
>>22943913Anon...
>>22943924I think they just have tons of stuff in the works. Like we know there's Gintama and Keroro returning next year at least.
>>22943955>GintamaWon't that shit end already?
>>22943910I mean, basically all the other studios listed have also done mecha shows in the past (and not just as in-betweeners or colorists), not sure why you singled them out. And there were lots of mecha element in the previous two seasons, this isn’t new
>>22944000It's more that almost all their previous work are mecha, outside of a rap anime and the Onimusha short, even their website focus on their mecha works
>>22943910Pretty neat, maybe they’ll either make it some kind of giga battledroid or a secret imperial weapon stolen and it no selling the particular walkers, interesting to see what they’re doing. Also it seems volume 3 for Star Wars visions looks like they’re going back to just being the Japanese studios rather than animation studios from all over the world(makes kinda sense, it wasn’t as nearly successful even though a few were charming as hell like aardman’s work)
Hideaki Anno's Shin Star WarsIt's only a matter of time
>>22943910Polygon is more likely to do mecha imo.
