Say something about the Barbatos Gundam.
Is it strangling itself?
I like it's design and theme more than IBO Barbie but it's weird that it went from being the crazy post game super unit in its reveal game, to being knocked down two pegs the very next game.
>>22969002It's not a Gundam
>>22969022Those are arms.
>>22969065He wasn't talking about the robot.
>>22969067But Barbatos has no pilot.
it has a witch hat. cute!
>>22969002I'm happy that this game is not dead and is now closer to a normal GGen game. I just want to collect my favorite MS.
>>22969002Glad to see they're bringing it back.>>22969178Same.The best part of the conference was seeing Eternal back and not dead anymore.
>>22969204They also include G-Witch already, hopefully the game doesn't die immediately and we can get a ton of MSV.
>>22969178>and is now closer to a normal GGen gameWhat did they change?
>>22969297It's on phone now.
I remember when people insisted it was Valvaros, not Barbatos.
>>22969002Good to see it back, and those new animations are great. Hoping we get the Balbadoro as well.
>>22969297They made it less gacha oriented and more like the normal games in order to acquire most units, I bet they'll still do gacha for the OP stuff, but most of the units are under development now.
>>22969317So it's like DD where you get units normally and roll for moves.
>>22969324>roll for moveNot at all, I remember them saying that gacha units might have special moves though.
>>22969275>>22969309Unless it's an outlier and is actually a full download game, almost all Bandai/Gundam live service games inevitably die and become inaccessible in a few years, barring GBO2. If the hero shooter and online breaker projects can't meet expectations, I can't imagine a niche classic turn based grinding game is going to impress Bandai enough to convince them not to unplug it after it's second annual report.>Maybe they will curb their expectations.Urdr Hunt.
>>22969334Engage exists, somehow. That game is fucking garbage fire.
>>22969334When it ends it'll just end up sold as a normal game anyway with the p2w elements removed. Don't know why a single player game is in this format to begin with.
>>22969351I appreciate when this happens, but is it that common with Gundam games?
>>22969353Not really.
>>22969324>Upgrade and Develop Various Units and Train Characters>Upgrade – You can upgrade your units and train your characters.>Development – Add your upgraded units to the development list and use “Develop” to create a brand-new unit.
Maybe I'm alone but this is a series where I randomly pick up the games again way later to check them out again. Sometimes years after the fact. But starting from scratch is the most chore like segment in each game. It's when you finally got your stride going and have two ships, all your favorite pilots and are exploring multiple evolution trees for units at once. That's the fun part I can't imagine booting up a G-Gen years later and not having my old save. But in this case, the reality is the whole game will probably EOS within a few years. You won't just lose your save.
>>22969373If the game survives it'll be cool to see new units that otherwise wouldn't be added in a normal game there, since their DLCs are usually trash.
>>22969386The Hathaway's flash DLC was acceptable. But yeah it just kept getting worse. Advance of Zeta had no stages to itself but at least had a tech tree to explore. Then the Cross Rays DLC quarantined the AU units from any tech tree at all.
>>22969317Most of them were in the CBT anyway. The things they did to encourage gacha were: it would let you jump ahead in the tech tree, it would give you special high energy, high damage attacks on some units, and they said units would be gatcha only on release but would eventually be added to normal development. They also made development take longer than the normal games by having high requirements and needing to have a certain amount of earlier units developed. It's hard to say from the new trailer if any of that has changed. There do seem to be requirements for development, but I don't know enough kanji to tell what they are.
>>22969396Can I get the ReZel line without having to reroll like a madman?
>>22970027If they keep roughly the same systems as the first CBT, you will probably be able to if it's in the game. The first CBT only had OYW and early Seed, this one will also at least include Zeta, but it's unlikely the full release will be that limited. If Unicorn is in the game the same way the entries in the first CBT were, getting rezels would be relatively easy, but might take a lot of level grinding. I think the gelgoog or dom thunderbolt required level 34 or so for example. You could also skip the requirements for developing a suit by getting things in the same technological "region", so you'd only need to pull something technologically similar to the ReZel, potentially stark jegans, jestas, etc., in order to unlock it for development.
>>22969002When are they gonna fix the gameplay? Cross Rays and Genesis are ungodly slow for an SRPG and knowing that SRW exists makes it borderline to want to keep playing because I can't help but draw comparisons between the two.
>>22969386It's a Gundam mobile game. The game is most likely going to reach EOS before it's 5 year anniversary.
>>22969002It's a pretty good Armored Core design, just not a very good Gundam, sadly.
>>22969178>>22969204Have they announced a prospective release date?
>>22976368Nope.
>>22969008It's doing the Gurren Lagann pose
>>22969002i like how its the only suit that people have fucked in (so far)
>>22969002oh cool a new sd gundam!>f2p mobile gamefuck oooof
>>22969373For me the slog comes when I already have everything good enough to take out anything for special conditions, so I'm just doing mindless routine that could be automated It's why I prefer Gihren's Greed because you can auto-combat huge boring battles without issues when you are in advantageous numbers, units, position
>>22969002I like the head.
