This was terrible in Gotchard but could theoretically work here since Sentai isn't allowed to have as many, like in Magiranger, Gokaiger, Kyoryuger and King-Ohger where it's actually a strenght to make the movies more important.>Female character is more prominent than usual. This made the main girl Rinne have the most consistent writing in that show, but she sucked either way because of the actress and the initial writer duo not knowing what to do with her which is why the show had a third main writer later on.>Likes the show's to be lighthearted, he mentioned once how he doesn't mind some darker elements here and there but tried to surpress every dark element in Gotchard because it was conceived to be very light. Having non-tcg cards and a school setting were Shirakura's ideas and having alchemy as a focus plus the driver working by fusing two cards together were Tsukuda's ideas.
