In this photo, a Federation Giad transport vehicle from the 86th, used to move their main mecha tank, the M4A3 Vanagandr. An interesting detail, the heavy Feldreẞ has to bend his legs and still doesn't fit into the back of the transport.

IT'S OUR TIME TO SHINE.ZAKU TRUCKS ASSEMBLE!
>>23001256This truck has more screen time and just as many key plot points as the mecha the whole show is named after.
I always liked the carrier trucks from Patlabor
>>23001743yeah they were neat

A submarine-launched transport vehicle with rocket booster for deep strike missions from Power Dolls. Under normal conditions the Power Loaders are airdropped into the battlefield from transport planes.

Didn't Dougram have a dual rotor transport thing?

Dai-Guard transport jets. You know we joke about it being a huge money sink but it's kind of a big cost operation
Loader transports
Loader trucks to move each limb
I love just how much of a pain in the ass it was to get the robot even standing

>>23011274Is that some power dolls?
>>23011275Yeah it's from the second Power Dolls OVA. The voice cast is actually stacked, and the action is pretty good. But I like the designs of the girls from the first one more, it fit the underdog guerilla fighters role from the game better.
>>23011283Yeah I saw the OVA a long while ago. I think I owned the DVD. May need to check for that. I remember it being neat but also how the two episodes were VERY different in style. Which makes more sense when you find out they were released two years apart.

>>23001256Bending/folding the legs is similar to what carrier aircraft do to save space and thus fit more aircraft. That leg folding configuration takes up far too much space though, there must be a better way. It requires a very wide road, which isn't ideal in urban combat environments (which the Feldreẞ should excel at IIRC).
>>23017543I think a good example of folding to fit in a transport vehicle is with the B1 battle droids. A similar system probably works best with the more lightweight/skeletal Feldreẞ, like the Juggernaut.
>>23017790
>>23017790>Reinforced and studded with case-hardened metal alloy studs, the MTT's face is designed to ram through walls so that troops may be deployed directly into enemy buildingsWouldn't the turrets get in the way? They're closer to the front than the hatch, so they take the brunt of the initial impact.
>>23018586Well it's a ball turret, so it would not surprise me if the Blaster barrels can retract and close.
>>23017489That's not a Zaku truck...its blue
I always partial to aerodyne type carrier like BT's dropship like Leopard, Broadsword and Aurora. In Gundam, I always fan of Zanzibar class, especially Cima's Lili Marleen. 86's Nachzehrer is another awesome design, I wonder if Nachzehrer Mk2 will appear.
Part of appeal for me is that armored units don't strictly have be kept internally, so there's lots of opportunities to get away from the traditional "brick shaped APC with dudes inside or maybe a black hawk".
But if your setting is just merely Earth or a planet with ocean. This is the best mech transport.
