I just love when people making fucking idiotic posts like this and expect people to know what the fuck they mean. Like that shit "hot take" thread that thankfully fell off the board earlier. Firstly, "hot take" is shit twitter lingo that not everyone understands, some of us prefer to not use the worst social media site available. Secondly, he started the thread by saying "Muv-Luv is what Evangelion haters say Evangelion is", and refused to elaborate. Now, maybe I can make an educated guess as to what he means, and frankly I think I do have some idea of what he meant. But I can't be sure, because there are multiple angles he could have taken. Is he commenting on the fanservice? Is he pointing out how Muv-Luv wears its influences on its sleeve as well? I don't know, because the fucking moron never elaborated.The whole purpose of definitions and language is to allow people to understand exactly what the other person is communicating, which is more important than ever in a digital medium where body language or facial expression plays no factor. Instead of using retarded buzzwords, explain what the fuck you want. "What is the Dark Souls of Mecha?" is meaningless drivel. Do you want a dark fantasy mecha series?
