So do you think Zeon or the Feddies had better rations? Would mobile suit pilots get better food?
>>23033761>So do you think Zeon or the Feddies had better rations?Zeon>Would mobile suit pilots get better food?Zeon pilots yes. Federation, probably not.
>>23033761Zeon probably has more experience making rations, since it's like astronaut food in a sense. But it's probably all synth meat or onions derivatives since they can't really farm trasirionally in colonies. Maybe they grind maggots into meat-flavored burgers. Feddies use real ingredients but cheap out on every aspect of the manufacturing process and your superior probably sold off a thirs of the platoon's rations to line his own pockets
>>23033795I'd wonder how food production on earth was post operation british, I'd imagine the environmental cost fucked over the feds supply chain a bit.
>>23033761>zeon>official rations: hard tack and rock sugarHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAmeanwhile feddie ground force grub looked good in 08th ms team. i'd expect them to have pretty decent MRE equivalents
>>23033828>official rations: hard tack and rock sugarThese are emergency rations, thus wouldn't be what you are being served in the field.
>meanwhile, at NERV
>>23033828Reminder that white base didn't even have enough salt.
>>23033854that's what happens when you're on the run in enemy territoryfeds were still willing to fly unprotected cargo planes to resupply white base anyway
>>23033761From what I can tell, Fed rations are regular bread, vegetables, maybe some meat, etc. Rich Zeon people would get whatever they want.
>>23033761Do you make a colony drop in the toilet after you eat these?
>>23033905No, you miss the toilet and hit the bathtub or sink instead. It's the zeon way.
>>23033905You'd be involved in Operation Shittish.
>>23033795>since they can't really farm trasirionally in coloniesIsn't the whole point of the orbiting smaller segments around a space colony for traditional farming?
>>23034067If you think about it spacenoid cows would inherently be superior as their muscles and soul would not be weighed down by gravity.
>>23033761This is what White Base eats.
>>23034225yeah but... no salt.
Meanwhile this is what Zeon eats.
>>23034230What if I'm stationed in space with the Axis fleet?
>>23034243Redpill me on spacenoid women.
>>23034283big boobs that don't sag
>>23034283Autistic(read newtype) women are less insufferable than non-autistic women.
>>23034287Counterpoint: Haman Karn
>>23034067But they have very littel space, so they likely grow some kind of ultra-onions and base every dish off that
>>23034315I said less insufferable, not completely. And Haman just needed a good dicking really. She was totally fixable if she doesn't get to the point she is at by ZZ.
>>23034286>their tits are weighed down by gravity
>>23034319She killed one of Char's past girlfriends.
>>23034243They made a manga about the Code Fairy videogame? Cool
>>23034395Literally killed the one pregnant with his child.
>>23034514Obviously he should have knocked up haman instead.
Feddies have it so bad that they literally drink Budweiser
>>23034684Fuck, that's a good point.
>>23034685Zeon's offering "Glanz" doesn't exactly sound tempting, but at least it's not bud
>>23034278Straight to flanagan, believe it or not.
>>23035243If I show newtype potential is there a scenario on either side that doesn't end with me getting experimented on or killed?
>>23035376Either you're so weak you just present as being unnaturally lucky, or you're so strong you become MC of your own story or at least a side character in someone else's story. Latter still has a chance of being killed.
>>23035376As long as you aren't a cute girl suitable for dying tragically as a foil to an MC you have about a 50% chance of being fine.

Who has more fat women Federation or Zeon?
>>23033761The Federation would have shittier rations but a consistent supply of those rations. Zeon likely would have had better rations but their supply lines and production would be in flux thanks to their territorial losses as the war goes on. Keep in mind Zeon took North America because it at the time had both the strategic value of being close enough to Jaburo but it also was valuable farmland. It's one of the reasons North America was colony dropped in Operation Stardust, it was the mass granary helping keep things stable.>>23034067Yes, each individual colony had about 15 to 20 orbiting farming modules, and there are roughly 30 colonies per side. Though Zeon has closed type colonies for more living space, so they likely have more farming modules per colony than the other sides do on average. There are also random colonies like Texas colony that are geared towards tourism but also act as functional cattle ranchland. So while Texas colony may have been damaged and rendered useless for the OYW there might be others like it who exist for large scale food production and aren't the typical suburban atmosphere of most colonies.>>23033869Makes sense the Feddies had a lot of rice. They still held China and much of Asia, it was probably their biggest food supplying territory with NA occupied by Zeon.
>>23035678I've never seen a fat feddie chick but code fairy has a fat zeek pilot.
>>23035678All the fat goes to their asses.
>>23033989underrated
>>23040270Space to End of a Flash? Or was it Legacy?
>>23034243Is that for space or for earth?
>>23033854This happened explicitly after an enemy attack and was described as such in the episode.
>>23033761
>>23034687Glanz is, according to its description, apparently a traditional german pilsener.Which means it wins from Bud by definition.
>>23035678Is this fat? It's a Zeon girl undercover disguised as a Fed.
>>23048867The food's not floating away so Earth or colony.
>>23033808>, I'd imagine the environmental cost fucked over the feds supply chain a bit.poorlystarvation did its part in the "half of humanity" part of the colony drop
>>23050312meme potential
>>23033795From what I understand, Zanzibar class ships technically had refrigeration capabilities, so some food was doable I'm sure. Most manga and even in Curucuz Doan's Island show Zeon ground troops to have basic modern if not decent amenities and housing especially at M'Quve's base.
>>23033944>>23033989Char's weird thing with underage Indian hebes suddenly makes sense.
>>23034225White Base has a kitchen though, what does the average Feddie grunt eat?
>>230606268th MS team shows them eating what looks like very typical grunt food from a field kitchenan entree, a veggie, a side, and some disappointmentfood in the field is likely similar to field rations we have today, just with the vaguely "future" aesthetic we see see in 0079 and probably made with minovsky particles or some crap like thatso MREs, but all the sandwiches are perfect rectangles with no crust and the biscuits in the shape of perfect cubes
>>23040270why were miniskirts standard issue in space?
>>2306067608th MS is written by people who have never been soldiers, never been in a war, never experienced war, and never even experienced the aftermath of war. The writers are just guessing what they think is cool and what they think happens on the "gritty" frontlines. Soldiers on base would not be eating their food like that. There would be a tent and shelter. And artillery cannons would never be that close to the kitchen.Tomino was right about newer generations of anime writers. They are too sheltered and don't have enough life experience to make good anime.
>>23064539>mini skirtShe's clearly wearing pants.
>>23064606its from the OP, which is meant to convey a specific emotion or atmosphere, so the viewer knows what to expect from the show before it beginsand showing soldiers getting handed food on to cafeteria trays in the middle of the rain before it gets rained on shows a good idea about what this show is about, even if it isnt 100% true to realitywhich is that this show is about front line grunts who are going to be bothered by really tiny things like their food getting soggyand it isnt even that inaccurate to WW2, which MSG 0079 was inspired by field kitchens would set up tents or in buildings as SOP, but really they would have to make do with whatever was lying around, even if it was from the back of a truckso lines of soldiers getting their slop slapped on to their tray in the middle of the rain was not an unheard of practice, they just didnt have a tent and soldiers had to eat
>>23060288It does show up in Build Divers, sadly I can't remember which episode.
