Three typical average kids

>>23035843Stay on topic, troll
>>23035839Anyone else really bothered how the claws on the green guy aren't color-matched to his costume like the other two?
>>23035976Not really, didn't even notice until you pointed it out.
>>23035839When this was on Netflix I watched that series twice as a kid.
>>23037000MODS
>>23037022You wish I was underage.
Ah yes the Blue Leno show
>had a sudden desire to watch beetleborgs 15 minutes ago, to see if my memories of it being 'okay, but not as good as power rangers' holds up from watching it back in 1997>go on /m/ for unrelated reason>this is on page 1what the fuck?
>>23037943Murasame Labs wants to know your location.
>>23037943The worst part of Beetleborgs is how tacked on the Toku footage feels. The goofy haunted house monster sitcom with kids rules. But ironically, the show kinda drops off when they have to fight bad guys. Doesn't help that the actual fights are very brief, edited like shit, and lack a satisfying climax; as instead of blowing up like the monsters did on Power Rangers, the Beetleborgs enemies turn into 90s CG comic book cutouts and fly back to the comic they were raised from. Every fight ends very unsatisfactorily, except for the Shadow Borg finale which kicks tons of ass. On the whole though, the show rules until they bring on the second girl to play the Red beetleborg. All downhill after that.
>>23038860Originally, it was going to be an all haunted house with kids comedy show, the action stuff was, apparently, indeed a late addition. It's unfortunate because the haunted house comedy stands on its own.
>>23038860I saw B-Fighter first because I wasn't even born when Beetleborgs aired. B-Fighter is the better show. That being said, the goofy haunted house monster sitcom should've just been a show in itself without the B-Fighter footage. >Shadow BorgYou should see Black Beet's storyline in B-Fighter. He's actually the evil clone of Blue Beet. >second girl to play the Red beetleborgIn an eerie coincidence, the same thing happened in the Japanese series. Reddle was played by 2 different females when the first one went to South America and retired while a younger successor replaced her.
The best thing about Beetleborgs is the suits being used for Forever Red.
>>23038860I ended up watching the first two episodes. Once the villains were introduced I was like 'yeah, no, I'm done'. It's fucking awful.I don't know what I was expecting, but it was absolutely not garbage slapstick with a terrible elvis impersonating ghost.
>>23039723Your loss
>>23038964I miss the first Reddle, sad that she retired soon after. Wonder what she's doing these days (and hopefully looks milfy)
>>23039723Skip the scenes involving the B-Fighter scenes and costumes. The true heart of the show is Flabber and the monsters. Though the episode Wolfie's Wild Ride is a must; it's where the Woflman decides to join in with the kids against the bad guys and it's so fucking awesome.
>>23040593flabber was the lead reason I was cringing so hard. I remember liking the dracula and mummy guys, but man, I do NOT remember flabber being that bad.
>>23040593this is obviously a cheap costume and probably a barely modified stock mask, but it does amuse me how his design isn't even "silly" werewolf or goofy gag dog man, he's straight up an evil looking werewolf who happens to be comical
>>23038964Oh, it gets noticeably worse with Metallix. The original powers and new powers should not be used by the same characters, as in the original version, the original B-Fighters join the new ones near the end of Kabuto in fighting off the final boss. The only saving grace Metallix had was that they made Boron/Kuwaga Titan, a fitting remold of Kabuterios, minus its Geist Axe.
>>23042198The original B Fighters don't really do that much in Kabuto anyway. They lose their powers before the finale and that's the end of them other than the Space Squad thing that never happened
