>>23041492You'll never defeat Andrrrosssss!
>>23041309The anime made him out to be this super fucking badass, looked up the boss fight for the game and it was kinda sad, like you just hit him till he falls down.
>>23050164The early release of the game capped his level at 35. Most players were 45+ when they faced him, making him an absolute chump. They later adjusted him so he's more of a challenge but the problem is, he can't be too overpowered because he has to be beatable by various V builds. Be they punchy, shooty, or hacky or any myriad builds in between. In the tabletop game, Smasher was what you (as the GM) threw at your party to either force them to run away from the situation of suffer a TPK. Sure, one well-placed EMP grenade COULD stop him, but the chances of that happening were so remote, most parties opted to run away. The anime did a good job depicting Smasher like that.I kinda wish Edgerunners had come out first to really help establish Smasher for non-tabletop players. But still, it's fun to see people talk about how satisfying they find it to execute Smasher with Rebecca's shotgun.
