Slightly less autistic Heavy Gear, mission based structure, able to get out of AT, can make field modifications and hijack enemy ATs.

A battlefield style multiplayer Votoms game would also be great.

Front Mission "GUN HAZARD", not the strategy games

I didn't play it but from what I've seen MGSV would be a good model for a Votoms game with an AT instead of D-Walker. Peace Walker already felt like the closest thing to Mellowlink with it's on foot combat vs vehicles and mecha

The PS2 game looks awesome. I've played the PS1 game, it's odd to control at first, but if you've played Armored Core games on the same system I'm sure.you could get used to it. I should get back to that game, the graphics are nice.

Considering how hard it is just to get the AC formula right I doubt it. if it ain't broke then don't fix it.

Literally Heavy Gear 1 and 2 my friend. Also while not quite MechWarrior I recommend Gun Hazard, Armored Core V, and Assault Sult Valken for other Votoms like games.
