There are specialized nippers for this, but a hobby knife/razor blade and high grit sandpaper (or a glass file if you want to get fancy) can usually get a good enough result.

Watched CRAFTA's video on the GKEKS kit and even if I'm not completely sold on the design itself, the part & colour separation looks fantastic. It's not perfect, there's still some stickers for vents & the red detailing, but even without them it looks solid out of the box.

What’s the optimal way to take your model apart after you’ve put it together? Everytime I do it I feel like I leave stress marks on certain pieces and it scares me that I’ll ruin the integrity of the model and break something later on.
