You know I just thought of something. If the White Base was captured by Zeon after Char successfully stole the Gundam, then all the enlisted personnel were either captured or (more likely) killed. When stealing the Pegasus he also destroys the bridge with a beam saber and later a mechanic is passive-aggressive at him saying that he didn't have to do that to capture the ship and because he destroyed the main bridge it's going to take ages for them to extract the data for working on the Gundam, and old fans are saying that's just such a Char thing to do. He's a dumbass who screws things up whenever he tries to be smart or cool. Sending the psychoframe over for the Nu Gundam included.
