The others all want a flight module for superior movement/the ability to support more effectively and then something to fix their crappy space terrain. Gunner for example has A Space but all of its weapons have - or B Space so you're just taking a damage loss if you don't fix it. Thruster Modules aren't that hotly contested unless you're using an Aestivalis but still.Cosmodiver is a perfectly fine unit during the early game too. Raul/Fiona are your primary support attackers for dealing with retreating bosses like Char/Butcher. 1800/1900 is bog standard RR grunt killer move level and 2800 3-7 is better everything except for Nu's Fin Funnels. In terms of overall bulk, Cosmodiver is a better ReGZ (BWS) which isn't bad at all.

Been marathoning the original Enma-kun since yesterday afternoon and I'm only two episodes away from finishing it. In episode 21 the Yokai Patrol steal/are granted Great King Enma's Dororon Ship. This is relevant because technically Enma-kun can enter SRW one day. Plus all it does is ram so it'll fit right in to Super Robot One or Two Attack Wars.
