And it also controls the retailer, P-Bandai. And it controls the manufacturing, done directly in japan. They pretty much control the supply chain end to end, except for delivery to consumers. They'd probably just ok a reasonable mark up over the factory price on which to apply a tariff, or if Bandai looks like they're doing something fishy, try to estimate it based on retail price.

The Woundwort legs are slightly fiddly but it's mostly just the little side bits that are easy to glue down. The inner structure is definitely way overcomplicated purely to replicate the transformation though and I wish they'd release a TR-6 with only the flip-up-shins feature of it. The Barzam II is very stable once you glue the thighs, making a purpose built thigh purely for the "plug another leg in" feature would be even nicer. Also a much more rigid torso, the stupid sliding lower center piece is annoying as shit.

how well do those plated parts interact with lacquer clear coats. I noticed the silver parts on the zeta ver ka were just like the plated hyaku shiki part. Since they were small and good enough, I figured I could get away with not bothering to strip them as long as they don't react poorly to clear coats. Already threw the runners out so I can't test
