Finally snapped up my bootleg Varguil. It needed some sanding, but it's pretty good otherwise. Aside from one of the feet parts not being filled out fully and having a giant gap where it's supposed to be flush with another part, but you get 4 of those so it didn't really matter. Some anons told me the stand is trash, but it's holding up well for now, I'll see if it droops later on.

>>23482827Do you have any spare parts laying around or can you make your own parts? If you have a few of the other FM IBO kits you can adapt the leftover parts to work with the Gusion. The spare arms, legs and waist all needed minor modification to work. The center frame barely needs to be there as the arms and head aren't dependent on the torso having a frame. You just need a connection to the waist and once assembled there is no forward/back waist articulation, just rotation. It wouldn't be hard to make just about anything work for that with a little work.

>>23483774As someone own RG Sinanju and working on it, the kit is not a "hand grenade", its problem lies at how slippery the pre made joins is. You have to dismantle them and paint them in matte paint to make them feel more solid. Its pauldrons use a poorly designed C clips for application, which tend to fall off and also need alot of thickening. Bandai also locked the closed fists behind P-Bandai expansion set, which is the most deserving criticism this kit should have but for some reason everyone ignore it because 2 box hands is fine for them. It is a mediocre kit for Bandai's engineering standard but not beyond saving, there are much worse out there.
I'm not posting my backlog, but I am a legit hoarder from the looks of it.

>>23483814No, I just built the HG Nu with the HWS armor and stuck the shield and bigger rifle on it, and donated the Funnels and the Bazooka to my EG Nu. The EG is close enough that the shield booster and front skirts fit on it absolutely perfectly, but the other parts just need minor modifications because the holes don't line up. If you cut out connection pieces and just glue the HWS parts on, they would fit perfectly.Dankpla made a video a while back more or less doing all of this. Why is my airbrush building up a small amount of paint on the nozzle cap when I spray and how do I fix it ? If I don't check before spraying each part, at some point the small dot of paint will cause the airbrush to spit on the part. It didn't happen before.

It also carries a huge bazooka there too if you don't want to store it somewhere else. The gigantic thruster is also a problem on its own.

Finished longsnapping the Zeta Ver Ka. It was a fun build and I love how angular it is. It's also decently poseable despite the transformation, but I was trying to get it to do the "aim down through legs" pose that the Wing is often in, but you can't get the arms to go forward enough. You also can't aim up which is a bit weird.

I just bought MJH Wing Zero (Blue)
going to try for gbwc next year... or at the very least going for the win in a yearly local contest. planning out the diorama and i'm going to go with the argama in a sort of emergency sortie scenario. this is sort of what i'm running for the base design. ignore the nonsense scribbles along the base, i kept making it wider, which made anything i wrote down pointless. waverider half out the hangar door, emergency repairs done on the mk 2, mega bazooka having maintenance done on it, hyaku shiki ready to go. it'll be a fairly long process and I'm going to be custom scribing detailing each of them somewhat heavily. it will roughly go hyaku shiki -> zeta -> mk 2 in order of least to most weathering on them. Some other details I had in mind:>extra weapons like the hyper bazooka mounted on the wall>balcony along the top back wall with LEDs ran underneath to light the rear of the display>modifying pilot figure into fa on the balcony>rick dias parts/being salvaged>mk 2 replacement shield will be pristine+ damaged shield remainder off to the side>floor detail with the hatch to the lower hangar>platforms for the launcher and waverider and a track along the base like they're in the middle of being moved out to the launchpad>modifying a pilot figure to be char hanging off the hyaku shiki overlooking the bazooka checkup.don't think everything will make it in but I'll plan it out and cut stuff as I go and see what works best. Will probably get the base board first and go from there, will want it to be modular with the walls and such easily removable. Luckily I would only need to light up the base and not any of the suits since zeta is in waverider, mk2 is mid-repair, and the hyaku shiki is the hyaku shiki. Anyways, this is only some planning ideas that crossed my mind and will probably be a long term thing since I want to get more scribing practice in first.
