Also the fight against Bocca in the mansion was cooler because it was done by the pilot director of the show who wasn't able to handle the finale due to being too occupied with the Summer Movie. The original plan was for Lakia to be a Granute cop infiltrated in Stomach inc that would join Shouma, with Q2 focusing on the main trio exploring the Granute World and killing all of the Stomachs, while the second half focused on a second mafia based on Lovecraft instead of Norse mythology taking over the dark treat production and serving as the main villains for the rest of the show.However due to lack of budget exploring the Granute world with the cop angle had to be abandoned and because Takebe liked the Stomachs' actors they remained alive even if Komura didn't have any plans beyond what was already written and wasn't able to come up with plans either. So instead Takijima came up with Lakia being a normal Granute who had his brother killed, this resulted in other writers handling him which is why Q2 starts slow. Then in other to compensate for the Granute world not being explored, the second mafia leaders became Bocca and Lisellle who took over the Stomach inc without killing the family.I don't know what caused the clone arc, I don't know who would have been BakiBaki Sticks in the original plan and I don't know why they couldn't leave the Stomach in to secondary writers like they did for Lakia and the two-parter about Hanto's mother's kidnapper.

Daiji overcoming his anxiety is one of the best parts of the show.Personally my problem with his character is that I never found Giff to be that menacing since Ultimate Revi could hold off Giff fairly well and that Over Demons just abandoned him seemingly because a scene was cut, which just made it feel like the cast was being an asshole to him for no reason and that if he had joined the cast and all the Riders ganged up on Giff while Vice entered inside him they would have been able to beat him immediately. I do commend the show for Daiji's duel and his inferiority complex towards Ikki early on being pretty realistic, his actor was also excellent. Also another thing I don't see people mentioning about Revice that I found pretty interesting is how Ikki would not intervene in most fights that his siblings had and instead would resort to allowing them to fix their problems themselves which I found somewhat novel. The episode felt a bit too short, everything happened too fast imo. But for an ending it was great, most of my predictions become true, as the ending wasn't really aiming to be a grand finale but rather to tie some loose ends. And for a series that revolves around addiction, it's a great detail for some part timers to be stuck in the human world, basically having no reason for them to ever harm another human.

An anticlimactic end to an underwhelming show. I've never seen something so allergic to drama, every conflict was solved within the episode or two of it coming up. Almost like an anti-Faiz.
