>All of the general fusion skills are ass aside from Limit Change.
Wrong, Limit Change is also only good because Combo Thrust is what's actually broken, Limit Change on its own is useless and only good for Combo Thrusts and the super secret twin gravity gun Spray and Pray meme.
Take Grappling Hook for instance, that shit has amazing range and it deals fall damage based on target weight, so a Kindunos for instance takes a buttload of damage from it, and you can also use it to simply yeet things into the water and instakill them.
Kick is the same, at high jump value that thing slams stuff into each other like a mace opening them up for grabs AND can also launch things into the water, you can even Bully Legion with it as long as you stay above him.
Optic Laser 3 is actually very respectable damage, it's a pocket CL rifle with less range in the same way Kick is a pocket mace with less damage, you can hit for 800 with it at very low femto cost and the blindness isn't particularly annoying either at level 3.
Barrier Burst completely destroys legion, nepenthes rooms and Auroras, it also clears landmines and other shit and gives a ton of pushback to outer type enemies.
There are some kinda trash fusion skills like Auto-Dodge or Blink, but Limit Change is not at all the only one worth using.
>>23529634
>But it a lot of the complexities of the first game were in-arguably stripped out or dumbed down.
That's absolute bullshit and you know it, if anything a huge issue TS has is that its massively more complex mechanically but the enemies are still literally just DxM enemies with no mean to play around all the new stuff they give you.
>>
>>23529769
>All this cope to justify hilariously situational skills
They're shit, anon. Only Limit Change and Mirage have any real general value.
>>
>>23529793
>Only Limit Change and Mirage have any real general value.
Limit Change does literally nothing of value without Combo Thrust on something that isn't a knife, it's the fusion skill that has the least general value of them all.

>>23529799
>The skill that trivializes every single boss in the game has no general value

I can trivialize every single boss without Limit Change and Combo Thrust by simply having high ground speed and two Redstarts with max ammo with ZERO fusions.
>>
>>23529808
>Using Redstart over SR2
lol
>>
>>23529804
He's right, combo thrust is the only reason limit change is strong.
>>
>>23529812
And considering basically every melee weapon can use combo thrust and every build should have at least 1 melee weapon, this is irrelevant.
>>
>>23529809
Exactly, that's what should point you to your claim being absolute bullshit because even a mid tier smg can already blend the entire game on Hard on its own.
>>
>>23529818
I wasn't even the guy you were debating with. I just can't believe some people still use Redstart when SR2s are very easy to find. Shit even the Caladrius is better than the damn Redstart and they sell that in the fucking shop.
>>
>>23529817
Combo thrust is only good on blades/laser blades currently.
Tachis are better off with the anime shockwaves and knives...it's a pretty complicated matter but let's just say you shouldn't because even in the three use cases where combo thrust can have some use on a maxed out carnwennan the sad trust is that spamming normal attacks on critical range leads to way higher damage somehow.
Also you can have builds with no melee weapon at all and there's nothing wrong with them.
>>
>>23529828
>Combo thrust is only good on blades/laser blades currently
The best weapon to use it with is literally fucking knuckles.
>>
>>23529828
My bad I forgot the fucking gauntlets and spears, sorry, still digesting.
>>
I wish the fire knuckle skill wasn't literally useless. I don't like using Combo Thrust and even took off Limit Change so I don't rely on it as much, but I don't have any other options. It's really upsetting.
>>
>>23529769
>That's absolute bullshit and you know it
Explain
I can fend my position

>emergency dodge as an evasive action
Not only does this require less inputs, it stops all methods of attacks and blocks every single particle element from use until you recovery from it's animation lockout.
Contrast this with boosting rapidly to dodge projectiles. You have to manually input more times per second, have access to all of your tools, and can cycle all particle armaments during it leading to some nonsensical finger spaghetti.

>Blink
It's substantially worse.
Blink in DxM fluctuated it's distance based on the speed you double tapped. Here it's fixed distance.
Blink could cancel animations. Here you cannot.
Blink could be used when shooting. Here you cannot.

>Particle armaments.
You get literally one.
By design you press substantially less buttons cycling them.

>Femto management
Combined with femto brackets not fucking mattering for particle armament duration anymore (they're tied to femto and burn it like a regular resource) there's 2.5 ways to manage femto in a boss fight that doesn't amount to "just break rocks"
By design, juggling 75% does not exist anymore and Macrio Barrier, good while it is, demands an entire weapon slot, an entire skill slot, and still passivity. I still use it though

>Spray and Prey
Can't be cancelled, less accurate, uses resources, and isn't a default action, it occupies your weapon action.

>crit range
By design it's easier to crit

So what do we get in return?
>A sprint button
Boosting despite being so fucking simple to do, is so stupidly fucking strong due to boost (and jump boost) cancelling that you don't need any other technique to completely break the entirety of the game.
You in-arguably press less buttons, and manage less gauges

>two handed weapons
Great. But they're not exactly mechanically complex.

>Free aim
Fair. I use a bow.

>Weapon arts
Great. But not mechanically intensive.
>Press button
>start spinning
>>
>>23529835
>Combined with femto brackets not fucking mattering for particle armament duration anymore
NTA but for laser type assault shift they still might matter. Do we know if they get femto correction like other laser weapons yet?
>>
>>23529817
>this is irrelevant
No it isn't. It makes no sense to nerf limit change because combo thrust is overpowered. If anything should be nerfed, it should be combo thrust. It's overpowered even without limit change.
>>
>>23529836
>NTA but for laser type assault shift they still might matter.
they do not
I use the Zeruchweiss AS
It was one of the first things I checked

If there's any impact at all it's so infinitesimally small that it rounds up to the regular number range anyways

Also I ran out of words.
But it's not like I'm saying I don't like the game.
I've got 140 hours in it this close to it's launch. I love it. I just wish the skill ceiling was even remotely as high.
>>
>>23529843
They should nerf fucking both. Limit Change does not drain anywhere near enough health to justify it completely voiding stamina as a mechanic, especially in a game where you can carry like 9 fucking healing items and even if those didn't exist you can carry Devotion and Combo Thrust deals way too much damage and flinch/stagger and even if you DON'T use Limit Change you can make builds that can Combo Thrust long enough to kill bosses without running out of stamina anyway.

They need to make Limit Change either drain health WAY faster or provide a stamina cost reduction rather than making it fucking INFINITE and in turn they also need to make Combo Thrust weaker (if going the health hemorrhage increase route) OR increase the stamina cost (if going the stamina change route).
>>
>>23529728
>>23529725
I want the skin mutation she gets.
>>
>>23529835
>>emergency dodge as an evasive action
You didn't need to dodge shit in DXM1 to begin with because even Zeruchroar and Eclipse hit like a featherweight, the number of inputs needed does not add depth either, DMC E&I aren't deep because I have to rape my fingers rapid tapping them to make them work as a baseline.
>>Blink
It was always a meme and that shit getting nerfed is a good thing, especially since the distance is now fixed rather than being tied to the speed of the double tap which led to uncontrollable movement.
I shouldn't need to explain why you should blink and shoot at the same time either.
>>>Particle armaments.
You get two actually, a solid and laser one, which are better than the basic bitch atk buff of the first game, all of the three shifts are better than in the first game.
>>Femto management
Femto management is a meme and has always been a meme, nothing changed from the first game, you just break red rocks here but you also have equipment like heads with buffs to femto regen and various consumption passives so again, it's in a better state than the predecessor
>>Spray and Prey
Was a meme in the first game, it's still a meme here, nothing changed, they literally only kept it because the first game had it and thought it was cool to keep the AC4 reference.
>>crit range
And it's a good thing as much as I fucking despise the mechanic itself and want it gone because otherwise we'd go back to DXM1's shit balancing where bazooka dominate, I hate crit range but it factually adds a modicum of balance that the original did not have.
>So what do we get in return?
A lot of things actually
>much better melee for starters with a lot more variety
>More bosses, more enemies in general
>Physics based options with things like Kick, Grappling Hook or your mace
>Fusion skills
>Better arsenal customization
>marginally better balance
>Better map design
>Much better testing area
>Transformable bikes
>A shitty card game
>Some weapons with actual gimmicks
>>
>>23529855
You don't know what you are talking about. The fact that Limit Change can't be deactivated means it's utter shit in the overworld because it drains while you're looting and exploring. It only has utility in the battle sim, and the only thing it offers is infinite stamina which isn't even that good. The fuck are you going to do with infinite stamina without combo thrust? You shouldn't need that much stamina to dodge these bosses.
>>
>>23529873
>The fact that Limit Change can't be deactivated means it's utter shit in the overworld because it drains while you're looting and exploring
What the fuck are you doing where there's a reason to be flying around the overworld "looting and exploring"? There's nothing worth finding in the fucking overworld. Everything worth finding is from fucking bosses and the battle sim. You can't even say exploring dungeons is worthwhile because you'll find better loot much faster just scavenging corpses at the top of fucking Uranus tower. In every part of this game that matters, Limit Change is the best fusion skill and it isn't even a close race.
>>
I hope they add more weapon skills with more exclusives for weapon types. Here´s hoping we get something cool ofr laser rifles.
>>23529872
Crit range is a good mechanic but usually too hard to make conscious use. More often than not, you´ll just be floating around and hoping to be at the right spot. Shit like the handguns with a horribly small crit range are pure cancer, even if the enemy is standing still it´s still hard to get to the right spot.
>>
>>23529883
>Shit like the handguns with a horribly small crit range are pure cancer, even if the enemy is standing still it´s still hard to get to the right spot.
Genuine skill issue dude. I use a Salamander on my build and turn bosses into fucking Swiss cheese with the thing.
>>
>>23529881
>There's nothing worth finding in the fucking overworld
You NEED to farm genes in the overworld for starters.
You NEED to farm specific enemy spawns for blueprints like the Claiohm Solais or the Gozu
You NEED to mine shit if you want to make any money at all or craft shit
You NEED to fly around doing questlines.
You NEED to fly around and look for emblems.
You NEED to fly around to find the various Sin weapons.
You NEED to fly around to get things like beacons or keycards from axiom dungeons.
You NEED to fly around and beat bosses in the world map if you want to unlock the fight in the simulator too.

It's also FUN to go around and bully UEC soldiers and immortals.
>>
>>23529898
>You NEED to farm genes in the overworld for starters.
You can farm every skill your build needs in a single fucking afternoon.
>You NEED to farm specific enemy spawns for blueprints like the Claiohm Solais or the Gozu
See above.
>You NEED to mine shit if you want to make any money at all or craft shit
Literally just sell garbage parts you don't need from looting corpses
>You NEED to fly around doing questlines.
Fucking come on man.
>You NEED to fly around and look for emblems.
Not combat related.
>You NEED to fly around to find the various Sin weapons.
The sin weapons are all gimmicky trash.
>You NEED to fly around to get things like beacons or keycards from axiom dungeons.
Which as I said, aren't worth doing.
>You NEED to fly around and beat bosses in the world map if you want to unlock the fight in the simulator too.
And all you need to do is fly straight fucking to them and then the fight is no different than the battle sim.
>It's also FUN to go around and bully UEC soldiers and immortals.
Not an argument.
>>
>>23529872
>You didn't need to dodge shit in DXM1 to begin with
You can lose a fifth of your health to a single attack endgame on a mid weight in a game with substantially less healing.

>Always a meme
>uncontrollable
If you were bad at it.
If you were even halfway decent at it, it opened up options found in literally no other mech game. And it was balanced through it's extreme stamina cost unless you made an Arsenal specifically capable of holding blink. The entirety of why I liked DxM is that one little ability that was anathema to people afraid of failure. Have you blinked after a cross slash and was in perfect critical range to land another one? On a moving target? Probably not.

>You get two actually
You dweeb. That's two different flavors of assault armament.
Particle armament is what they CALL Assault, Guard, and Wing Armaments.
You do not have access to Assault, Guard, and Wing at the same time. That's by design.

>Was a meme
You never used it
It's literally inarguably worse here. This isn't even a conversation point with a possible rebuttal. And "well I didn't use it anyways so who cares" is terrible.

>It's a good thing
Zooks weren't dominant because crits were "hard" to hit. They were dominant because they were easy to use and did disproportionately more DPS than the next best options.

>a lot of things actually
>a card game
>a transformable bike
>fills a list with things that almost exclusively have nothing to do with mechanical complexity (the thing that I filled my post with)

And now that I'm on this
>>23529769
>Optic Laser 3
It's a rocket CL rifle with substantially less fire rate, potentially more damage, (though CL rifles are weak anyways), costs femto, and CC's you for nearly 15 seconds at level 3.
The only tools you have that can cope with blind is a bow (arguably a sniper rifle), Blitz, and Assault armament.

It is nearly unusable on boss fights and as anything other than a finisher on arsenals.
>>
>>23529906
You're just being retarded on purpose, you can only reliably get things like Sliver Raven II from axiom dungeons so no, they're not "not worth doing", I don't even want to waste time addressing that other /v/ tier nonsense and I don't like this game enough to do so.
>>23529913
>You can lose a fifth of your health to a single attack endgame
Maybe if you're using really bad parts and aren't paying attention.
>If you were even halfway decent at it, it opened up options found in literally no other mech game
What fucking options, it's a digest QB from AC4 but somehow even worse designed, don't even pretend there's actual tech to it because the online for DXM was not only bad but dead as fuck.
>Have you blinked after a cross slash and was in perfect critical range to land another one?
No because nothing warrants doing that level of mental gymnastic, I can also chain multiple shit in this game like Helm Breaker>Kick into wallstick>Bazooka shot but I don't see you talking about how things combo in this game.
>You do not have access to Assault, Guard, and Wing at the same time. That's by design.
That's also good, not sure what's the problem here?
Do you want to be even MORE overpowered in an already braindead game?
>You never used it
I did and it was a fucking meme, stop pretending it wasn't, don't make me reinstall that piece of shit as I already have posted myself playing it.
Next you'll pretend standoffs were totally better in the first game too.
>It is nearly unusable on boss fights and as anything other than a finisher on arsenals.
Wrong, but you've been wrong on so many things this doesn't come as a surprise.
>>
>>23529924
>you can only reliably get things like Sliver Raven II from axiom dungeons so no, they're not "not worth doing"
This retard doesn't know about the guaranteed SR2 in an overworld garg lmao
>>
>>23529925

>>
>>23529928
>Using two of the same gun
Soulless
>>
>>23529928
What the fuck are you talking about where an overworld garg with a guaranteed drop isn't "reliable"?
>>
>>23529709
Sounds like another potential use case for double-melee to me; cover the gaps with a weapon switch so they can't parry. Just to clarify though, do you mean if they guard your first hit then they can parry in the middle of the combo, or like the combo doesn't have enough hitstun so they can parry even if you get a clean hit on them when they aren't guarding?
>>
>>23529934
Because for starters, you can get it much earlier in an axiom dungeon without even knowing about those couple of gargoyles out in the wild.
But oh well I guess you DO want to actually run around in the overworld now, what do you know?
>>
>>23529951
I don't want to do either, huge waste of time. I just went online and asked around until I found a dungeon with four gargoyles on the first floor. Got a perfect roll SR2 by just resetting it over and over without firing a single shot, now I never need to go back into those worthless places.

What the fuck do they have to do with this. Spray and Pray factually was better. More fucking bullets hit the target.
It had it's use case one of them being unlimited fucking ammo and doing your rifle's damage in an aoe around you.

I literally don't know why you keep responding to this point. Actually no.
You don't have to boot up the game, I already have it installed you absolute goober.
Look at that, bullets that actually hit on point multiple fucking times per spray.
Almost as if it was better.

You have some massive nuts talking about a person being wrong about anything when you're larping about using something you clearly never used to any real capacity.
>>
>>23529887
Single salamander or dual wield? I really can´t get it to the right spot. Even with the enemy stunned, the fuckers keep wobbling and getting in and out of range. It´s too restrictive. Congratulations if you can deal with this but there´s no reason it can´t be a little more lenient
>>
>>23529966
Single. I pair it with a Silver Raven 2 since their ranges line up. I WOULD use two Salamander but bosses aren't the only thing I fight, and against smaller targets these two cover each other well (Salamander has longer effective range, Raven has more DPS outside of crit range). Unsure why you can't maintain the range against immobile targets, wonder if it's a weight thing? I use a borderline lightweight (~1800 total weight). When something is staggered I want to pop a bottle of fucking champagne because I can just scoot to ~18 range and unload both guns with assault shift and watch their health drop like a rock.
>>
>>23529942
It's closer to both.
e.g; if you use tachi and land the first few hits on king he can just parry you anywhere in that because he's not flinching.
But if you use a sword and hit kings shield the hitstun from blocking the sword attacks isn't long enough to land the final attack
The laser sword on the other hand has enough hitstun to land the full combo so ultimately does more stagger damage.

I forgot to mention the last part in that, it seems at least, all cross-slashes are seemingly unsafe if used in a combo.
>>
>>23529966
>there´s no reason it can´t be a little more lenient
There absolutely is a reason, have you LOOKED at handguns? Their crit damage and weak point damage are absurd and the two stack MULTIPLICATIVELY. If you're in crit range on a weak point, every shot with a Salamander or Triple will show damage in the HUNDREDS and handguns fire FAST. If they expanded the crit range, no other weapon could ever compete. Handguns are supposed to be an extremely low weight/memory burden weapon that reward incredibly skillful play and they do this very well. If you can't use them properly the problem isn't the handguns, it's that you either need more practice or should use something else.
>>
>>23529835
>there's 2.5 ways to manage femto in a boss fight that doesn't amount to "just break rocks"
Gunfort was a pain to deal with as a heavy because of this and how much it moves around. I tried macro barrier, but the guns just shredded my stamina while barely restoring any femto. Is there really no other way to regain femto mid-fight later besides passive regen and the environment?
>>
>>23529975
>>23529972
nta but there IS a boss are a bit difficult to consistently hit when staggered (dependent on handgun)
That being Insania Rex. Moves about a 5 (what is this games unit of measurement. Meters?) when it's breathing heavy from it's heart pains.

What lightning fast laser snipe?
Where is your guard shift by the way?
>Did you even read my original post where I talked about Blinks specific uses?
Let me reiterate since you're clearly hard of hearing in a metaphorical way:
Blink was dogshit in DXM and there was no reason to ever use it unless you wanted to relive the "glory days" of AC4 PVP, which if that was your intention by all means feel free to fellate that poorly designed mechanic but do not pretend it added any depth to a casual button masher with sandbags and horrible netcode, might as well pretend DS3 and Elden Ring should be at EVO.
>Spray and Pray factually was better. More fucking bullets hit the target.
Spray and Pray in TS can literally last as long as you want it to last depending on the guns you use, their mags and your stamina so shut the fuck up about this dogshit meme skill that was bad in DXM and still is bad now despite being shadow buffed (protip, Spray and Pray is the only skill other than Combo Thrust where Limit Change DOES apply).
I keep responding to you until this post because you're talking absolute nonsense nobody who actually played both games would agree with.
>>
>>23529980
I'll give you that Insania Rex is hard to use handguns on, but he's really the only one. Against him I just use melee.
>>
>>23529978
If you're end game you can get the aux unit from Zeruch that restores femto
Otherwise you'll have to wait until Lapis Lacrima alpha. It's ability to eat bullets doesn't impact your stamina so you'll just gobble bullets
I have another playthrough going on right now and while the Aeternitas certainly is no Concordia, it gets the job done.

>>23529981
>what lightning fast laser snipe
There's literally only one boss with one. Which do you think?
>Blink was dogshit in DXM
If you were bad at it. Which you clearly were.
>netcode
It was delay you goober. You were still getting the distance you inputted, even if the time it came out was different. Everything is worse online, not just blink. Guard shift is worse online too. So are grenades. Wow!
>their mags and your stamina
And hit less in less time than two spins in the original dxm. And, as you mentioned but somehow didn't understand, without USING your fucking ammo in that game.
TS's spin's ammo efficiency is through the fucking floor. It also has no altitude control (meaning you can't go up once you start it, in case the words are difficulty), can't blink while doing it (which means you can't dodge)
It is inferior in every way that matters just like blink is.

Anyways, I knew for a fact once I had a video shutting this down, you'd slink away.
I'm glad this is over.
>>
Redpill me on Helm Splitter. I'm getting really tired of Combo Thrust, it isn't fun.
>>
>>23529873

>>
>>23530002
Big damage for fat boys. Alright damage for non fat boys.
Really I like it because of the speed. You get it out and then go back to doing other stuff until another opening arrives.
Does massive stagger. But not every weapon is good with it.

Fists fucking slap with Helm Splitter no matter your weight.
Daggers and Tachis? Not so much.

I'm using fists as a light-midweight so you have my attention. I'll give it a shot, thanks anon. I just tried the burning knuckle and it was so ass and combo thrust just removes all challenge and is boring which sucks. I want something fun.
>>
>>23530016
If you're not opposed to a little spice, Rebound Block is very fun in boss fights (but only really there). Getting that third charge level casually let's your following punch land for like 1.4k. And the perfect block window is generous enough.
I'd be using it if I could fit one of the good fists onto my current build in place of my Soryu.
>>
>>23530023
Don't get me wrong Rebound Block seems fine, but in these kind of games I like to play all offense max power max speed. It's why I don't use devotion, shields, or the aux shield. I want to lay into a mother fucker like an absolutely feral murder machine, so blocking isn't my thing.
>>
>>23529975

I wouldn't even remember because no boss in DXM ever posed a thread and most of them had laser beams anyway.
>If you were bad at it.
I wouldn't take wasting time on a dogshit skill to make it "good" as a mark of pride, but go ahead and do it since you're so eager.
>It was delay you goober.

And that's supposed to be a good thing for DXM' Spray and Pray?
>TS's spin's ammo efficiency is through the fucking floor.
Considering it actually fucking uses a lot more bullets, that's normal.
>It also has no altitude control (meaning you can't go up once you start it, in case the words are difficulty)
Again, wrong, spray and pray automatically moves you towards a target so you CAN go up.

Commitment is wrong now? You just want to be untouchable whenever? THAT'S depth to you? Having no commitment and just a top of shit mechanics piled on each other with no regards for anything?

>muh gravity gun meme
People like to talk about this as if it's good but it's lousy for anything that isn't enemy arsenals. Large bosses laugh at it and even regular immortals need you to dump basically all of your ammo to murder them all if fighting a large pack or halfway beefy ones.
>>
>>23530056
It's dogshit but it's funny as fuck.
Gravity guns are still just as bad as they were in the original but it's a funny interaction.
Maybe Eclipse Omega and super Immortal Void will give us one that doesn't suck balls though, you never know.
>>
>>23530064
>Gravity guns are still just as bad as they were in the original but it's a funny interaction.
Dark Matter can be funny when paired with melee as it keeps enemies from being able to get away reliably but it costs WAYYYYYYYYYYY too much memory to be worth it for that interaction. What I want is a rapid fire gravity gun that fires smaller homing projectiles that can actually deal some damage to make up for a weaker pull range.
>>
Actually fuck it. This is a waste of effort.
No more.
>>
>>23530067
The problem with Dark Matter is that you already have Magnetic Field for that anyway so why would you tank your arsenal's memory for a mediocre (and ugly) gun when you can just use that?
Not like there's enough enemy density for this to be even a thing anyway, regrettably, most enemies come in close groups of three or maybe four.

I guess outside of Tsukuda's incompetence the game is held back by the Switch 2 so some neat things can't shine as much as they could.
>>
>>23530082
the game already runs like hot ass on the switch
They should have dumped that as a platform altogether. Or maybe gone half slideshow like Wild Hearts S when lots of stuff was happening on screen.

It's clear they made a lot of sacrifices to get that thing running on that console.
>>
>>23530082
>The problem with Dark Matter is that you already have Magnetic Field for that anyway so why would you tank your arsenal's memory for a mediocre (and ugly) gun when you can just use that?
If you wanted to use another skill, I suppose. But the problem with that is still the absurd memory. If Dark Matter cost like ~300 memory at base, it would be a worthwhile consideration to pair with melee weapons that can't cross slash like knuckles. As is though? It's just shit.
>>
>>23530086
Yeah, it's clear a lot of things were hampered by the targeted hardware more than anything.
Truth to be told I would have preferred if they kept the graphics the same as the first game to avoid this issue and go ham on things like enemy density but alas, the graphix race is a thing with the general audience and it's a race you can't afford to ignore.
>>23530091
Yeah, a lot of weapons have ridiculous memory costs for what they are.
Like why the fuck Vargr Greed needs 700 memory when it's just a lump of steel while while Raider Force 3 has 1K average?
Why the fuck does a glorified WW2 rifle like Empusa want 900-1K?
Doesn't help that you also have things like the Halberd arms which would potentially be really good but have like 60-70 memory banks which completely kills them.
>>
>>23530110
>Doesn't help that you also have things like the Halberd arms which would potentially be really good but have like 60-70 memory banks which completely kills them.
The Halberd set in general is really fucking funny. The stats are good, don't get me wrong, but not THAT good. You can piece together an arsenal that performs better in every aspect than the Halberd and it will actually have functional memory capacity. I get that they wanted Halberd to be "high performance at a cost" but they went WAYYYYY overboard, the entire set is unusable. You can't even compare it to other bad sets because Explorer arms and Muramasa arms do anything you could want the Halberd arms to do at the same memory (or better) and the rest of the set is just above average at best.

For a non unique midweight the stats on Halberd are overall really good, but the lack of memory puts in an even worse position than Muramasa which at least is laser focused on pure melee whereas Halberd is this kind of good but too generalist kind of set with dogshit memory.
Guess somebody on the balancing side of the team hated Grief.
>>
>>23530129
They just need to either jack up the stats even higher to make the dog shit capacity worth building around or increase the memory a bit to make it worth justifying a piece as is. Unsure if they'll do either one, though.
>>
>>23530126
Grief's loadout wouldn't even be usable in this game lmao
Which is saying a lot because he was using basic bitch versions of all the weapons.

This halberd you can have like what?
3 pistols, a dagger, and a hand grenade (no missiles)
I'm pretty proud of my ability to autistically grind something out until proficiency. But there's no fucking way that can possibly be good even if you were the most accurate fucking pilot in existence.
>>
>>23530134
Grief was truly built different. Void could never.
>>
>>23530134
The head is unusable there's just too much competition from heads like Explorer, Gozu, Palls, Zeruch etc. so it doesn't have any fucking chance.
Core is unusable too, it's just too slow and the complete lack of memory kills it further, same with legs, there's just no competition against Explorer/Primus Pilum/Demeter.
Arms are actually POTENTIALLY usable because they do get really nice shooting AND brawling stats with both buffs, good defense value, good VP, but the ridiculously low memory makes it really hard to fit them anywhere when Explorer arms just have better offensive stats, Primus offer comparable stats with better memory and then you have more specialized arms like Weiss/Muramasa.
Luckily you can use them as skin but that's not the way things should work.
>>
>>23530143
Honestly the Halberd set should be best overall in-class for everything. It's so difficult to build around even ONE Halberd part that this would be completely fair.
>>
>>23530053
You can use it to dodge attacks with i-frames too. It hits better up close, so I think it's intended to be used as a counter or when you're surrounded. Not sure that's much better than just dodging normally though, considering the cost.
>>
>>23530191
Depends on the attack. And obviously your weight. I believe, and don't quote me on this because it's really fucking hard to test, that at every weight bracket it still has more iframes than a regular dodge.

There's issues with that, because the stop timing can go on longer than the iframes do. So some shit that can happen at heavier weights, like dodging through cybele and STILL getting hit, have happened. And I don't know if it's possible to no-sell the entirety of a dreadnoughts charge at medium weights.. God knows I've tried a bunch.
Horse is fine at least. And obviously you're burning ammo at a faster than regular fire rate

I'm fine with a Grim Reaper 2 but it's probably going to sting if you're using a Raven II.

>>
>>23530463
Rare L3 attachments such as? I just farm fixed Alpha mons for most of those, but you got me curious, I'll go check old solomon
>>
>>23530467
Shotgun count 3, brawl 3, memory capacity 3, emergency dodge 3, stamina recharge 3, aux armor 3, literally everything. If it's an attachment you want, it can be obtained this way really easily. NTA but if I wanted armament attachments like him what would you recommend I do? I don't wanna loot corpses.
>>
>>23530492
For surefire L3 attachments you have to either farm Gold axiom dungeons or certain specific Alpha mons.
L5 beacons are also okay but they're a pain in the ass to farm and in my experience the selection isn't particularly great, moreover a couple of specific L3 modules are fairly elusive in general.
>>
>>23530495

NGL I've yet to see a single good piece of loot from a level 5 beacon. Seems like a scam.
>>
>>23530501
They're a great source of weapon arms, sometimes you get the occasional rare weapon like Jarngreipr but that's about it, there's also chances for some good L3 modules but beacon farming AND searching is a very time consuming process.
>>
>>23530504
Jarngreipr are PISS easy to farm from mountain strays and weapon arms are really only good for Eclipse so I'm not sure that's really a point in favor of L5 beacons.

Nope. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=in_7cnPsgPI

Video has screenshots of all the heads at the end and shows that the order of the face and head mutations matter, but I don't think it's correct about how you actually choose what parts you want aside from the savescumming bit. From what other people are saying, it sounds like each stage of mutation counts all the genes you pump in since the last mutation and boss genes (genes >= 10) are valued way higher than standard genes, but for any of them to matter you actually have to unlock a skill with them. Some people say weapon skills and personal skills mutate more often than passive too. It sounds like what this means is that as long as you have a boss gene skill of the right type then you can afford to include a bunch of filler to make the mutation happen. Also, it's apparently impossible to get a pure build without spending factors of the types you don't want on the eyes and the two levels of scars.

The order of mutations is supposedly
>Eyes
>Scars 1
>Scars 2
>Back/Shoulders/Waist
>Mask
>Arms/Legs
>Chest
>Head
where the mutations on the same level could occur in any order. I know there was an anon here that tested this a bunch too, but I don't remember if the results they found contradicted any of this.

In any case, that's all I've found about it on the english side so far and I'm not sure how much I'd trust any of it. Just make sure to keep a save after every mutation you want to keep so you can go back to it and try a different combination if the result isn't what you expected. Or just reset your body and start from there since apparently it doesn't take that long to get the mutations you want at endgame.

>>
>>23531830
It shouldn't BE good. It's free. It costs you no weight and no memory to punch. It's supposed to be a last resort for if you have no melee weapons and are out of ammo.
>>
>>23531865
No reason it couldn't be kind of good if you have the right build for it. It's not like you'd lose your melee weapons over the course of any non-Eclipse fight, so running out of ammo and not having enough weight/memory for a melee weapon are the only use cases outside of lance throw memes. I'm not asking for AC6 punch melee swap combo extensions, but any reason to use punch besides "I ran out of gun" would be nice if they're going to let you grind it like the other weapons.

>>23531830
>barehanded attachments
Never mind that part, I misunderstood the anon who was trying it out last thread. Is there even any way to make punches stronger besides leveling the mastery?
>>
>>23531893
>No reason it couldn't be kind of good if you have the right build for it.
Even if I can -sort of- agree it should still be no where near as good as actual melee. Even daggers should be considerably better.
>>
>>23531907
It has almost no forward thrust or crit range, no space for attachments, no stronger versions of the weapon, no buff from brawling stats, and it suffers from the same combo restrictions as knuckles in addition to the damage being bad. By default, daggers are several times better than punching. It seems insane to even bother giving it a mastery section like this, so that's why it feels like there must be something it has going for it. Then again, it's also insane to make players ascend for several hours to find a secret boss so maybe there really isn't anything and this search will just be a huge waste of time

>>23531937
After testing, it's even worse than I thought. Seems like they have almost no stagger too. I was beating on a Hypnos for ages, but it didn't stagger even once before it died. Didn't enter rage mode either, probably because I never broke the mask. Also forgot to mention the lack of weapon skills. Couldn't find a stat that boosted their damage either, although I didn't look that hard. Flamberge and Acropolis were doing the same sort of damage despite wildly different stats.

So far the one and only advantage I can see is that if both hands are empty and you crit with one, then you can keep critting indefinitely with both of them unlike knuckles which stop critting if you switch to them mid-combo. This is less impressive than it sounds because the crit range feels more precise than any other weapon; it both does not work at point blank and does not cover the full forward thrust. You could use it as a poor man's way to crit up close with your other weapon if you're really desperate, but knives or knuckles are way better for that due to longer crit range in addition to all their other advantages. I don't see why they couldn't just let punches crit at point blank, it would have been an easy way to give them a unique gimmick.

The DPS might not be as bad at max mastery, but unless they get a boost to crit range or stagger that won't mean much. The best you could do with them is get close (not too close) to a weakpoint and keep attacking with crits, but you can't create any openings to do that with punches due to the lack of stagger and you won't get the crit easily due to lack of crit range. I guess throwing a lance, punching to crit, picking the lance up as you attack with your other weapon, and then attacking with the lance is something else they could do, but why not just crit with the lance in the first place?

tl;dr punches are probably usable at max mastery if you're good enough, but they still seem worse than every other option in the game
>>
>>23532236
It's reliant on what you did first.

>>
>>23532244
Punching costs the pain of using it despite how bad everything about it is. It's not just worse than other weapons, it makes your entire build worse if you try to use it due to less attachment slots and no weapon skills. It should at least have some niche that you could try to take advantage of instead of no strengths whatsoever, like being able to crit point-blank and/or loop crit combos to make your other weapon stronger. It may as well not have a mastery to grind in its current form because the only reason it exists seems to be for people who run out of bullets but can't even bother to bring the cheapest knife.
>>
>>23532266
You can always do a body reset and go down a path you like more the next time. It's easier to redo your mutations the further you are in the game since many later skills unlock earlier ones too. I also liked the shell mask and was disappointed to see that all of its heads used that same base, but I will say your Outer looks better with it than any of the other shell heads I've seen

You will earn as many fusions as you have points, after which (according to JP anyways) the tally resets.

Passives (seemingly) lack the ability to trigger a fusion unless they also fuse a weapon/general skill as well. All Neun factors will massively slide you towards the fusion finish line. If you're discerning about what skills you pick it's not that difficult to

I haven't put this into practice yet. But given my experience, I'm pretty sure it's possible to take 4 neun skills and not lose your head. (5 in total including the general slot). A level 3 neun skill will still fuck you up if it's your first fusion however. It'll take your eyes, both stars, +back (and potentially shoulder). It slows down substantially after that.

Okay so due to autism I have installed CE to fuck with mutations, and with the table I downloaded I managed to adjust body parts how I wanted. Since it was unlabeled, I jotted down what each slot was in order (there are more but idunno what those do). The first three digits seem relative to game progress, but the last 4 are set in stone based on what mutation part it is. The full head mutation is the only one to not use the same last four digits as the others. You adjust +/- 4 from the values to change from Skeleton (0) to Might (-4) or Shell (+4). The head, being different, goes in a set order that I can't recall offhand but has the same progression of might -> skeleton -> shell in 4 number increments.
for everything, 0 is no mutation
To apply a changed value, save and reload. OF NOTE: if you are NOT fully mutated, your next mutation will be what it normally would have been AND reset your altered appearance
>>
>>23532524
>Then are the rest of the weapons on strays?
No, probably not. The only notable weapon they drop is the laser knuckle. The ones you're missing are probably the seven sin weapons and/or ones that come from gargoyles in dungeons.
>>
>>23532601
in the end, what I most disliked about the shell head wasn't the head, but the mouth/jaw. Opted for this might/skel mix, and adjusted other stuff a bit

>>
Why does it feel like I can move around faster in combat by jumping rather than dashing?
>>
>>23533254
Because depending on your legs, you can.You can pick parts to have jumping, dashing, or femto boosting as your primary method of movement in combat, with it further seperated into grounded or airborne. Also, dashing is a lot slower when you're actively firing a weapon, and especially so for heavy weapons. If you want to boost faster while using stuff like that there's an aux slot item that boosts for you

Air speed is determined by chest, ground speed and jump strength is determined by legs, femto and dash efficiency from the head
>>
>>23533264
What´s the fastest you can go while femto boosting? NTA but I try making some fast builds and most gear I put on gives a ton of debuffs for the speed and efficiency
>>
>>23533270
Dunno what the numbers really mean for speed, but the fastest thing I've found is a chestpiece you get from a couple early neun fights that's a superlightweight with something like 32-35 air speed. I use that plus a later femto efficient head to femto boost around the map super efficiently

Now that I'm balls deep in a third playthrough
Heavyweight is substantially harder to pilot with any level of proficiency in comparison to lights and especially in comparison to mediums.

Less Femto, Less accuracy, generally terrible speeds (and by proxy boost cancelling doesn't carry enough inertia to just be completely immune to firearms without wingshift), terrible efficiencies (barring general giving you your free 40% for stamina) so the aforementioned wingshift burns you out in a very short timeframe and you get like two weapon skills before the following emergency boost burns you out to red. (generally) Bad jumps too.

Horrific arm stats that have to be rescued by mods (and still won't be entirely rescued by them). But holy fucking shit is it fun to just overequip for shit. And piloting around a fat ass to still maintain a semblance of mobility despite it's drawbacks is a fucking rush. Some fights you can just fatfuck all over without moving much. And others like Legion 2 just instantly rapes you if you you're not spinning like a madman.
>>
Does paying to reset mutations take away all your skills? I'd like to mutate just enough to get the sick tattoos but if it's going to cost me all my fusion skills then fuck that.
>>
>>23533547
Heavyweights are built to just do big dick damage and tank the world. Slap on Centurion's sword and go attack>helm splitter>kick and you'll see insane damage numbers. If you're not using a big ass two handed melee weapon on a heavy you're shooting yourself in the foot.
>>
>>23533547
>>23533552
Oh and follow the kick up with a bazooka or cannon blast.
>>
>>23533552
Yeah I started this playthrough specifically to use Centurions sword. I'm almost there, man. I might use grappling hook on those juicy zeruchot arms. Fucking things have 190 which means that they'll probably be fucking guaranteed with some more grab mods.

>>23533550
Yeah snatches it all away. I'm in the middle of autism so I haven't gotten to hardcore fusion experimentation. What I do know is that there is absolutely no way you're gaining a level 3 Neun skill without fucking up at least your arms by the time you're finished.
>>
>>23533552
Tanking isn't that viable on hard mode. Feels like you need some other defensive measures like an aux booster, shield, guard shift, or high jump legs to make them work if you don't want to burn through all your heals while exploring
>>
>>23533562
Lame. Looks like I'm going to keep using the suit that hides all mutations then. Unfortunate because I really like the early tattoo-only phase.
>>
>>23533567
>Feels like you need some other defensive measures like an aux booster, shield
You should be using aux booster or aux shield on a heavy regardless. You easily have the memory to spare and the weight helps rather than hinders. No other aux is worth using on them except MAYBE Jagdflügel but that is much worse in terms of value for a beefcake build. And if heals are an issue, just pack a Devotion while exploring instead of your boss killer weapon.
>>
>>23533567
Oh. I forgot to mention that part. Aside from playing on hard I stopped healing on playthrough two with items. No devotion either. And yeah you're right, some of the betas just instantly fucking break the armor if you let too many hits in. If it wasn't for the regenerating HP this shit would be substantially worse.
>>
>>23533577
>some of the betas just instantly fucking break the armor if you let too many hits in
What are your physical and laser defenses? Most heavy parts have near zero (like Pallas) and I strongly suspect they are weighted higher towards their named attribute than basic defense is. I've noticed that when those numbers are near 0 and basic defense is sky high, I seem to take more damage than when I have more of those and less basic. The fact that attachments for basic increase defense more than physical/laser def attachments support this theory too.
>>
>>23533583
Right now I'm running a full palas set, nearly 3000 basic defense and -300 physical. I could fix that physical but I'm three fights away from upgrading into full gladius. Which is my personal final destination until Zeruchroar a dozen hours from now.
And yeah negatives definitely fucks you up compared to being even at like 100.

I actually plan on doing a semi deep dive later. Because my midweight original playthrough at 1k basic and 700 for physical/laser simply feels tankier sometimes. But that's for later
>>
>>23533589
>my midweight original playthrough at 1k basic and 700 for physical/laser simply feels tankier sometimes
That's consistent with my own findings too. Definitely seems like the attribute specific defenses are weighted higher unless something is doing heavy basic damage only (which I doubt anything does in this one). This was probably their design philosophy around the Pallas set, as it has really fucking good memory and basic defense with solid VP too and even features other good stats like high arm shooting capability. They had to balance it SOMEHOW so it wouldn't just be the best heavy set and shafting the higher weighted specific defenses is a good way to do that.
>>
>>23533583
That's what I found with the early heavy build I've been running too. Taking too much Acropolis got me killed in like two shots of a random stray's charged laser rifle so I had to remove everything but the arms and take an energy shield to compensate. Even with the extra physical defense, Gunfort's guns and "melee" still shred this build pretty quickly though

Check the effective range on your SR2. If it's a low roll, it's effective range will actually be smaller than the crit range and hamstring your damage. Also use Soryu, Noble Pride is an edgelord suicide weapon.

If they did put it in the game I'd use the Dainsleif but alas, it's not here so I have to use the Mia Lepida, maybe it will come over with the expansion, pretty odd they did carry over the gargoyles but didn't put the Dainsleif.

Also had no issues with this and actually have a tip. Find an orange/yellow dungeon card with chests on the first floor and you can get really any attachment you need really fast by just speedrun opening them and bailing out over and over until you get something good. Only exception to this seems to be AS/GS/WS attachments, but those can easily be farmed if you get a dead stray corpse in a yellow/orange by doing the same thing.

Evil Acedia would be good if it had higher damage. The gimmick isn't holding it back, the dogshit numbers are. Skills award points
Passives (generally) don't mutate you, but (some) give points
After you mutate, points are (supposedly) reset to zero, allowing you to accumulate a new category.

Whatever category got the most points to qualify for the next upgrade first will always get that upgrade. In your case you got too many upgrades/passives from skeleton somewher so now you're a skeleton.

Day 3 of trying to farm a GG Jarngreipr:

I have started to see the Strays as my brethren. We are not so different, they and I. For were we not both humans touched by Femto? Where does my "humanity" end and their's begin? Are they simply not trying to survive as I am? I don't know, but I suspect they are an innocent as when I attack one I will often encounter another coming to their aid. Are they truly just ravenous monsters acting on instinct when they actually protect one another? I sometimes feel a calling to mend the broken chain separating us from them and unite us once more. Can this be done? I don't have the answer, but I also know my hands are not clean. Countless stray corpses lay in my wake, and for what? Slightly better equipment? Who's the real monster here, them or me? They slay us for survival, I am slaying them for power and greed. By the end of my mission, what will be left of my so-called "humanity"? We are not so different, they and I.

Finally done with my mutation fashion

Apparently you can hire his brother for that instead in postgame(?). Come to think of it, the quest for that unlocks songs too. Does the brother come with those?

Holy fuck give me Guilty Throne back. These assault rifles feel like shit. Also where can I get Silver Raven 2 and farm it?
>>
>>23534737
Maybe I´ll go with blue
>>
>>23534756
Grim Reaper II is really good. I think Silver Raven 2 can be found in gargoyles.

The fashion for this game is so much better than AC6. And yet I want even more options

>>23534765
I´d usually be against those things, but since we´re power armors now instead of mechs, I´ll agree with you
>>
>>23534764
The different sets mix and match really well.
>>
They really should fix the Focus function in Photo mode from messing up with the basic UE LOD function, how can you spend a decade working with UE and make such amateur mistakes?
>>
>>23534764
I would like weapon hiding/skins and adjustments.
The hip placement for weapons is usually shit besides a few mid and heavy armors. They could have put the weapon on the thigh instead, where there's more room to work with.
Frostbite also clashes with many looks
>>
>>23534843
They also should make your shoulder attachment pivot properly with your shoulder hard point rather than being fixed and clipping like mad with any melee attack or things like spray and pray, though I suppose the hard point isn't actually set on the shoulder like it shows in the visuals but somewhere on the torso.
>>
>>23534843
Indeed, weapon skins would be good. Or at least, give us endgame versions of all weapons so they´re all strong enough to be viable for use. I do like some blue rarity weapons over the purple or golden ones, but they´re few and far between
>>
>>23534762
I have Grim Reaper 2. It just ain't the same.

Fuck that's basically the same as going in to Axiom dungeon depths with key cards. Time to grind I guess.

It's not essential so not like it REALLY matters, but the amount of sidequests you can miss out on is kind of retarded.
Wis hthere was a mod to specifically relist missable quests. But the only one that does that also perma adds a bunch fo placeholder quests that are impossible to complete.
Also really wish there was a mod that let you have more control over body mutation like the ability to skip a step, all waists look like dogshit.
>>
Just cleared the arena. Is there a harder circuit or is this really it? Felt like most matches were a huge pushover, only died like once to the no 1. ranker and beat them on the retry.

I think it's beyond retarded that they give you a mode to replay story quests but not complete sidequests you might have missed.

Is it possible to get Zeruchroar to spawn now or was it only during that event?

Only during that event. There are some people here with the JP mod aids that adds Zeru to the battle sim that could share it with you.
>>
>>23534881
SRII can also be found from level 4 beacons. I’ve gotten most of mine from there.
>>
>>23535022
That's a shit roll though?
>>
>>23535071
Yes
>>23535116
Wrong. Even before the event Zeru had a very low chance to spawn in if you attack Gunfort B and absolutely buttfuck it.
>>
>>23535131
Control your autism, anon, he's playing a casual robot game, not diablo hardcore, rolls literally don't matter.
>>
>>23535135
But there isn't any luck involved in that? It's a VERY common drop in the mountains. Like insanely common.
>>
>>23535139
Common for you.
>>
>>23535151
No anon it's common for everyone. Half the Strays there have like a 50% chance to spawn with the thing, that's why it's so easy to farm a good one.
>>
>>23535151
You can literally get over a dozen of them to drop in an hour if you know which strays can spawn with them.
>>
>>23535154
>No anon it's common for everyone.
Man I don't give a fuck. I hate when dipshits do this shit. No nigger, it's not common for everyone. You just think it is because it's common for you, it's not common for me, now be a fucking predictable bitch you are and give me that 'you have shit luck" speech like yes you dense motherfucker, meaning it's not fucking common for everyoine. go fuck yourself I'm not here to listen to your retarded delusions.
>>
>>23535163
Holy fucking rage. Dude, it IS common. You just don't know which strays drop it. Calm the fuck down.
>>
>>23535116
If I join someone else's sim does that sim get added to my sim?

>>23535133
So what, I find a Gunfort beta and leave it at 10% and fuck around to see if he spawns?
>>
>>23535163
Hold on I'll make you a fucking map of good Strays to kill for it, maybe then you'll stop being a whiny bitch and shitting up the thread.
>If I join someone else's sim does that sim get added to my sim?
Yes.
>So what, I find a Gunfort beta and leave it at 10% and fuck around to see if he spawns?
No, he will show up VERY quickly if he's going to show up at all. Get Gunfort B to ~90%. If Zeru hasn't popped in, he isn't coming. Leave, reset the map, and try again.
>>
>>23535175
Meant to quote >>23535172 as well for the greentext.
>>
>>23535163
Here. A bunch of other Strays can have it too, but these are the best spots to farm because they all spawn multiple Strays which can ALL have it. A few things to note:
>Second spot just above the bottom left might have Rebellion or Dreadnaught in it instead, if this happens go back to base and then back to the mountains until 2 Stray are there instead
>Each location has two Strays with the exception of the circle on the right which has three, the third one is very slightly north of the other two on the same plateau
>SCAN before killing, if they don't have the claw equipped you are wasting your time
>Do not bother killing Omega Strays unless they have a part you want at all, if an Omega spawns it cannot have the knuckle
Simply go to the bottom left two areas, check all four Strays, then fast travel to a point near the far right circle and check the 3 there, then fast travel back to the left side. Fast travel respawns all Stray and rerolls their equipment even if you don't leave the map, Omegas will show up randomly while doing this and are to be ignored. Do this over and over with these spots and you'll easily find 12+ of these things per hour.
>>
>alpha Strays start spawning where you fight the first Neun guy
>kill one and it drops a laser sword waaaaaay stronger than anything I have access to
Did I break the game?
>>
>>23535201
No? You're just really early into the game. Laser swords in general are really weak compared to other melee options honestly.
>>
>>23535131
Yup it is. I wanted the attachments. gunning for lvl 3 sucks.
>>
>>23535208
Oh just use: >>23535199 and farm a little. Those attachments are stupid common on that knuckle. I have like 30 of the fucking things.
>>
>>23535208
Why do you want those? The charge attack on knuckles sucks, it's the last thing you should be doing with them really.
>>
>>23535217
I absolutely want them for fun. I also wanted to see if it affects the instant grab charge.
>>23535210
I have been around those areas while mining. I'm not so lucky. I really just get charge 2 alot.
>>
>>23535225
Charge 2 is definitely more common but use the route as detailed and I guarantee you'll have 3 of those minimum within an hour.
>>
>>23535225
>I absolutely want them for fun.
Fair enough my man.
>>
So the missable quest "There's a... horse..." involves Bullet and you have to spare her to not miss it apparently? We should update the spreadsheet.
>>
>>23535232
There's no missable parts in it, we don't need to update anything.
>>
>>23535235
There's a section for missable side missions in the spreadsheet and it's there. The listed fail condition is "Complete Chapter 25", but it seems that's not the only parameter. Also apparently there's one with Yaiba too (I heard) but I don't know which mission that is.
>>
>>23535240
I mean you might be right but does it matter much? The side missions in this game as so half-baked they aren't even really worth doing with the exception of Nerve's. They are all incredibly short with nothing of note happening, I'm surprised that's even a tab at all.
>>
>>23535232
I killed her and still got that quest.
>>
>>23535244
Nothing matters. Regardless, I'm just trying to make sure the sheet has the correct info.
>>
>>23535251
When did you get it? I'm at Destroy the Bombs but I haven't gotten it.

>>23535252
Disregard this shit then.
>>
>>23535208
Twin Jarngreipr charge is pretty good due to the extra projectiles, it shreds immortals and also charges up a lot of flinch.
>>23535232
It involves Bullet in the sense that some minor bits of it are part of her backstory but you can get it even if you kill her, in fact you somehow can get her to spawn in the second optional encounter in the facility with one of the sin weapons even if you killed her in the other place, though I'm sure that one's a bug.
>>
>>23535232
No. You get it either way. My main file has it when I killed her.
>>
>>23535255
Can't remember exactly, but I might have unlocked it after finishing the story, same with Yaiba's quest. I remember wondering why the game was throwing so many sob story side quests at me in the post game.
>>
>>23535264
>Twin Jarngreipr charge is pretty good due to the extra projectiles, it shreds immortals and also charges up a lot of flinch.
You'd be much better off just using Combo Thrust with one. More damage and flinch. (Combo Thrust really needs a nerf.)
>>
>>23535264
>>23535266
>>23535267
Thanks, for some reason it's not triggering for me and I'm at the point after Void trashed the HQ. I guess I'll just make a save and progress and see if it shows up after this.
>>
What's the best laser sword by itself?
>>
>>23535281
Baldur's Edge/Claiomh Solais
>>
>>23535284
I was afraid of that, they feel INCREDIBLY weak compared to knuckles and physical swords. Oh well, thanks.
>>
>>23535287
They do?
I'm getting 300+ damage per swing or so with by Baldur's Edge, admittedly it was crafted from a pretty decent blueprint so there's that.
>>
>>23535290
Yeah, mostly Jarngreipr. The damage comes close to Jarn but Baldur has like half the flinch despite also being weaker. The damage profile itself is also worse even if it were the same, since the Jarn has a healthy amount of basic damage while Baldur is heavily stacked towards laser. I was hoping there was another laser sword I was missing which bridged the gap at the cost of much higher memory or something (notably the Jarn does cost like 3x more) but apparently not. Maybe in DLC I suppose.
>>
>>23535296
Jarn has over double the memory cost on a good day though, let alone the weight, although that one's a good thing if you're a fat boi with Helm Splitter I guess.
Jarn's basic attack is slower and with worse homing on top of longer recovery, you can't clash, you can't use a lot of nifty stuff like reaper, I don't see the slightly lower damage and flinch as a big negative honestly, Jarn does have the unarguably better grab since even there it does fire the projectiles for some reason which does result in decidedly higher damage.
Knuckles SHOULD be some of the heaviest hitters given their memory cost and weight too, in fact I'm sorta disappointed only Jarn is really doing that wh3n even Rebellion's rocket punch lags behind it.
>>
>>23535307
>Jarn has over double the memory cost on a good day though
I mentioned this my man.
>Jarn's basic attack is slower and with worse homing on top of longer recovery, you can't clash, you can't use a lot of nifty stuff like reaper
All of that is irrelevant the second combo thrust enters the equation which is so absurdly strong there's no reason to use any other weapon skill. Choosing something else can be more fun, but that's the only "advantage". Shit like harvester scythe or helm splitter or whatever aren't even worth considering if your goal is as much DPS and flinch as possible.
>>
>>23535307
>Knuckles SHOULD be some of the heaviest hitters given their memory cost and weight too
Dude Jarn only weigh like 55 units
>>
>>23535307
>let alone the weight
What?
