What's everyone's favorite scale?I've mostly built 1/144 and 1/100, and 1/100s just feel more like action figures than a model kit. Like the kind you'd buy for an 8 year old so they can manhandle it while playing pretend. Shame since they have much nicer detail oob and the chinks seem to love that scale so there's more variety in mech design.
The G-Unit redesigns are kind of hit-and-miss. I like the new Griepe, but the old Burnlapius was way better. I mean, what the hell even is that new weapon?

I've only built 2 Chinese kits before. One was an exia based off of the metal build or something. It wasn't bad, but required more work than a Bandai kit in terms of fit and other general model work. Overall it was okay, but not as good as what you expect from Bandai. The other is the Chinese Kshatriya, and it's one of the best kits I've ever built, only outclassed by a small number of kits. Merhaps there is a range of quality in knockoff/bootleg kits and generalizing them all as Bandai killers or toxic hazards than only professional modelers could save is fucking stupid and you're all fucking stupid and I am the only smart person here capable of nuance and also both sides are bad.
